Scratches to multiple areas of the new fridge. I am unable to post the video removing the brand new tape covering revealing scratches underneath. The movers also did not wear shoe coverings on any of there recent three visits. The movers also hit my entry doorway and seemed poorly equipped to move appliances. They even drug my old fridge against my wood floors not on wheels and the handle is no longer able to be attached, which prior it was attached and functioning.

On the second day after refrigerator was delivered, the freezer outside bottom of the lower compartment plastic part detached from it.

I was excited to find this refrigerator as an open box item. The tag said it was returned for scratches and residue but that everything worked. Now, let me be honest, this review is as much about Best Buy as it is the refrigerator. Remember, the Best Buy sticker said that the appliance worked. The store employee who assisted me was knowledgeable and polite. He helped me get signed up for the 18 months, no interest payment plan which I really needed. He arranged for the refrigerator to be delivered to my home a mere three days after the purchase (yes that was sarcastic.) The delivery crew was polite and efficient. They put the machine in my kitchen and gave me a number to call if there were problems. All good. I cleaned the stickers and things off the refrigerator, connected the water line, plugged it in, flushed out the water line. About a day later, after it had time to fully reach the temperature settings, I turned on the ice maker. A few hours later there was a puddle in the top shelf. I made sure the fridge was levelled properly and tried again. Water continued to leak from the top. Therefore I called the number I was given for help. The help line was polite and told me I would only have to wait seven days for a technician to come look at the appliance. Gee, seven more days of waiting, that's great (yes that was sarcasm too.) The technician arrived on the appointed day, looked at the refrigerator and said, "that's a manufacturers defect; I can't fix it." He called in the problem so that the store would know what was going on. That night I went back to the store, got credit for the bad refrigerator, and picked out a new one. This time I only had to wait four days for them to come remove the bad refrigerator and bring in the new one. Bottom line, I liked the look and features of this refrigerator, but Best Buy could have saved me a lot of missed work and frustration if they had labelled it properly from the start. I'm bummed it was a bad unit, but even more bummed about how much time was wasted in this whole process. To sum it all up, don't trust overhead ice makers that feed into the door.

beautiful design, good space. I love the inside design and layout. Not fingerprint resistant. The reason I am giving 3 stars is the doors are not well aligned. One door is taller than other. Geek squad called. The mechanic said Kitchen-aid refrigerator has this issue. It can't be fixed. I didn't want to return because it is a lot of hustle. Now I have to live with it. It is not a huge deal. I don't except Kitchen-aid to have this issue because it is a high end brand

crunching noise when sliding of drawer within the deep freeze section in and out. Technicians were not able to eliminate the crunching noise. Recommended unplugging of refrigerator whenever electronic control panel needs to be cleaned is unacceptable.

good product overall. has some minor compressor motor noises when running. another issue with it was that the inside shelves were damaged (scratches mainly and some chips) from original delivery. Didn't offer replacements for just insides so they tried to deliver new fridge few times but each time the fridge was damaged.

Kitchen Aid can improve on the sliding drawers and the occasional noise this fridge makes

We have had constant issues with the ice cube maker leaking, freezing, and not producing ice. A technician came out to fix it and has not been able to go to max ice mode since.

Ice maker still has problems… very difficult to fix ice maker problems due to location and engineering.

Well nothing was put together inside they left cardboard and plastic inside, that has never happened before with other refrigerator delivery from any other company I have had ever! though the refrigerator is nice the inside parts are light plastic can easily be cracked. so far so good on how it works not to crazy about the weird ice cube shape. Paying to haul old one out was new too. Never was charged to haul old one away. would not buy another item from Best Buy again.

I purchased this French Dore refrigerator from Best Buy, and I wish I hadn't! The man they sent to install the unit would not install the shelves nor would he adjust the door so that when you close the doors the seals would align with the seals on the refrigerator. in addition to that when I open the door the entire unit rolls out towards me. I think when I purchase a $3000.00 appliance it should be installed and ready to be put to use.

The fridge working good so far. They told me to keep an eye if price lower down in the future and they will price matching. I call them to do so when found a cheaper price and they refuse to do it. I’m very disappointed they don’t keep promises.

It’s just o.k. Brand new and We have several issues with it already. It is incredibly fragile. New technology not worth the insane price. It was barely bumped while positioning it and checking water leaks and dented. I mean it feels like it’s made with aluminum foil not stainless steel. Buyer better beware! !

Nice refrigerator, however Best Buy didn’t do to well to check on the product. It had a dent on one of the sides with a big scratch almost like it was hit by something.

We bought this refrigerator as part of a whole new KitchenAid kitchen refresh. We have had the pieces for a little over 3 years and the refrigerator has broken twice already. The first time, it was leaking puddles of water all over the floor at random times. Turned out to be a clogged hose to the water dispenser, after only 1 year of having it. Now, on the 3 year anniversary of buying it, it has stopped cooling completely. It stopped making ice a few days ago and now it is no longer staying cold. When we called Best Buy for service, we were told it would be almost 3 weeks until they could get us an appointment. Waiting on a call back to see if they can get us in sooner. Extremely disappointed in KitchenAid. For an expensive product, it sure doesn’t hold up like it should.
