I've dreamed of a commercial style rangetop for years, and this does not disappoint! It's beautiful in our still-to-be-remodeled kitchen (we had to replace appliances immediately upon the purchase of our new home). Cooking on it is FUN! This is the first time I've ever had gas, and the cooktop we replaced did not get nearly as hot. I made pan seared Chilean sea bass that was AMAZING. It's been pretty easy to keep clean - easier than I expected. It is an adjustment to not lean on the knobs, but I'm sure this is something I will get used to in time.

Just beautiful. Was updating rent house and wanted to go for quality product. Have been using Kitchenaid and never disappointed. On this in particular, lead times are long these days but Best Buy staff in Grapevine was kind enough to get me one. Thanks a lot to the professionals at Pacific Kitchen, there.

Love this cooktop. Easy installation and quality!!

The stove top is beautiful and functions well. It took a looong time to receive this item (months), but now that we have it - it is perfect and was worth the wait. Ot is the center of attraction of the kitchen.

Just had installed and installer pointed out back right burner is harder to ignite...shouldn't they all be the same? Had new quartz counter tops put in with thicker edge so to remove could mess up counter...looks great but seams like since new ALL BURNERS should work???

This review is for product KCGC506JSS. I purchased 5 products, the 36" cooktop, 36" vent hood, oven/microware combo, dishwasher, and 26 cubic feet refrigerator. These are all beautiful items and are top quality. I love having the control knobs on the front versus the top; makes it easier to clean. The two 20,000 BTU dual flame burners are awesome. And I love how the unit has the convertible grates that can be flipped over to slightly lift your cooking pot higher as to simmer soups, sauces, etc. I would definitely purchase this unit again.

We’ve had it for close to two years now. Excellent quality. Cleans well and still looks new. Would have liked a grill attachment that would go directly on the burners but one doesn’t seem to be available.

I love this stove top. I previously had this model with the grill and 4 burners. I found myself rarely using the griddle so went to this instead. Plenty of room for 3 pots across! Great flame control. Do wish it had better safety when turning on the burners, I’ve accidentally turned on a burner here and there.

so far so good, burners work accordingly the stainless steel surface is dot get finger prints which is awesome, also the few drops of grease from frying or cooking are VERY easy to clean from the stainless steel surface knobs are a tiny bit loos nothing to worry about but less loose would be a plus

Excellent ignition, great heat output [the two big front burners are best for stock pots]. The absence of support grid all the way across on rear and middle front burners can make use of small [less than 4''] pans a little challenging to balance. Heat control is remarkably precise.

This is the second KitchenAid commercial gas cooktop that I have owned now. I’m building a new house and this one will go in it. I loved the last one I had, so I decided to buy the same thing.

We love this cook top. it works perfect it has cool features.This cook top is industrial like in a chef kitchen. The burners are huge and the flames are not like your regular cook tops. when you start it up it makes you feel like a chef. I can not describe the sound it makes you excited to cook .We have had it for a year. The Con's is keeping grill clean. I have tried many ways to try to keep them clean but since they are black it shows the grease on the grills.Oh and becareful with nobs not to accidentally hit on when cleaning or walking by.

Great functioning stove top. I had a Thermador stove top for 26 years & I find this works just as well for less $$. Only thing is the grates are flimsier & gray quickly.

Installation was very easy. The six burners are just what we need for the cooking that we do.

this cooktop is awesome and everything you want in a gas cooktop 6 burners, high BTU's ease of use etc..... i highly recommend this product
