Questions & Answers
How does this compare to R-120SW. Specs seem the base except the minimum frequency. How is the R-121SW any better? Is it worth the double price?
Answered by Klipsch Product ExpertThe R-121SW features a new cabinet design and an enhanced woofer. This subwoofer sports a larger cabinet allowing for a higher maximum acoustic output. The new woofer material allows the R-121SW to deliver a lower frequency response with less chance of distortion.
R-800 F and R-121SW What set up do you recommend to Use with this 2.1 set up?
Answered by Klipsch Product ExpertIn terms of what crossover I would recommend, I suggest a crossover of 80-100Hz for the R-800F. This will accentuate the mid-high frequencies in the tower and allow the subwoofer to handle those low frequencies!
R-41PM SPEAKERS AND KD-10SW subwoofer------ using record player computer music only--- what cable and settings should I use? subwoofer - line in "white rca LFE" to speakers "sub out"? do I set LOW PASS to LFE? thank for help
Answered by Klipsch Product ExpertTo connect the KD-10SW to the R-41PM speakers, you will only need a male-male RCA subwoofer cable. Connect the cable into the KD-10SW's RCA Line Input labeled "LFE." I suggest setting the Low-Pass dial to 80Hz as the speakers will cut off at this frequency when a cable is connected into the RCA Subwoofer Output. The Low- Pass dial will set the ceiling frequency for the subwoofer (ex if set to 80 Hz, the sub will play 80Hz and below, frequency-wise).
Will this connect to a Pioneer VSX-LX105 receiver? If so, what is all needed?
Answered by Klipsch Product ExpertYes! The R-121SW will be able to connect to the Pioneer VSX-LX105. You will only need a single, male-male, RCA subwoofer cable. This can be found online or in-store!
