Kuhn Rikon - Hotpan Stainless Steel Cooking Pot with Insulated Bowl, 1-Quart - Gray

The Kuhn Rikon Hotpan Stainless Steel Cooking Pot with Insulated Bowl is a unique thermal cookware system designed to cook food gently while saving energy. The system includes a high-quality 1-quart stainless steel pot and an insulated bowl that continues the cooking process after the pot is removed from the stovetop. Simply heat your ingredients on the stove, then place the pot inside the insulated bowl. The stored heat allows food to continue cooking slowly and evenly without additional energy. This gentle cooking method helps preserve vitamins, minerals, and natural flavors while using up to 60% less energy compared to traditional cooking. The cooking pot is made from premium 18/10 stainless steel and features a Superthermic® sandwich base that ensures fast, even heat distribution. The double-wall stainless steel lid helps retain heat, while stay-cool handles allow for comfortable handling during cooking. The insulated bowl keeps food hot for up to two hours, making it ideal for preparing rice, grains, sauces, vegetables, and small meals. Suitable for all stovetops including induction, gas, ceramic, electric, and halogen. The pot is oven safe up to 350°F and dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. Proudly manufactured in Switzerland, the HOTPAN® system delivers efficient cooking performance and exceptional craftsmanship. Important: The insulated bowl must never be placed on a stovetop and should only be used together with the Hotpan cooking pot.
