While the term "C-Stand" is synonymous with steadfast support in the filmmaking and photography industries, the 20" Master Raiser C-Stand with Turtle Base stands out for its robust construction and adaptability. Crafted from high-quality steel and finished in a sleek, non-reflective black powder coating, this C-Stand is not only sturdy and durable but also discreet on set, minimizing unwanted reflections. The 20" Master Raiser C-Stand boasts a maximum extension of 68 inches, providing ample height for a variety of lighting setups and equipment support. Its impressive load capacity of 22 pounds ensures it can securely hold a range of gear, from heavy-duty lights to modifiers, making it a reliable choice for professionals seeking peace of mind on set. This C-Stand's versatility is further enhanced by its unique turtle base design, which allows for easy and compact storage. The base features three legs with varying heights, enabling users to stack multiple stands closely together, optimizing space both on location and in storage. The innovative design also includes two spring-loaded legs that open in fixed positions for quick setup, while the third leg is fully adjustable. This adjustability is crucial for achieving a level stance on uneven surfaces, such as inclines or staircases, ensuring stability in challenging environments. The stand's two telescoping risers, along with the main section, provide the 68-inch extension, while the thoughtful zinc alloy casting on the base is five times stronger than aluminum, adding to the stand's overall durability. This is particularly beneficial when supporting the weight of sandbags or when the stand is subjected to the rigors of on-set traffic. Additionally, the aluminum locking collars are reinforced with a stainless steel heli-coil, safeguarding against damage from the stainless steel bolts, further testament to the stand's built-to-last design. In summary, the 20" Master Raiser C-Stand with Turtle Base is a high-quality, versatile, and reliable choice for industry professionals who require a support system that can withstand the demands of dynamic shooting environments while offering the flexibility needed for creative lighting and equipment setups.
