Keith Sweat discovered this female trio (Athena Cage, Lavonn Battle, and Tabitha Duncan) from Atlanta, but Kut Klose had a lot more going for them than just being the protégés of a superstar. 1995's Surrender (their lone album) has become a real cult classic (or Kult Klassik, if you will), no doubt in part because songs like InchGet Up on ItInch and InchSexual BabyInch are just plain steamy. But the production is tight, too, with the H.O.P. Productions team, Eric McCaine, and Fitzgerald Scott joining Sweat in laying down the sultry grooves. InchI LikeInch was the hit, but the whole record just has that Inchlet's stay in for the nightInch vibe.
