How easy is this to access for cleaning and does it retain lint more than other hard piping?
To access this duct for cleaning, it must be disconnected from the dryer and wall. Damp lint tends to stick to smooth or rigid surfaces. Smooth surfaces allow the lint to move through the duct more freely without resistance.
The Lambro® space-saving Aluminum Periscope Dryer Duct is ideal for use in tight clothes dryer installations. This product is ideal for laundry closets where space is limited in depth. It features a 90° connection to the dryer exhaust outlet and a 90° connection to the duct connection to the outside. This duct allows for the dryer to be placed 3 in. from the wall for optimum space utilization. The 2-piece aluminum construction allows for this duct to extend in length.
