The LP Top-Tune conga side plate kit is a replacement hardware component designed for conga drums that use LP Top-Tune tuning systems. It provides the structural side plate needed to support the tuning lugs and tension assembly, helping maintain the connection between the drum shell and its hardware. Intended for maintenance and repair applications, it allows worn or damaged side plates to be replaced while preserving the original configuration of the instrument. The kit is compatible with select Latin Percussion conga models that feature Top-Tune systems and is used to help ensure proper mounting and alignment of the drum’s tuning components.
Designed as a replacement side plate kit for conga drums, this component helps restore or maintain the drum’s original hardware setup when existing parts are worn, damaged, or missing. It provides the structural element needed for the tuning system to operate as intended, supporting continued use of the instrument without requiring full drum replacement.
Engineered for LP Top-Tune conga systems, this kit is intended to match the existing mounting design used in compatible Latin Percussion drums. It allows users to replace side plate components while maintaining alignment with the original hardware configuration, supporting consistent integration with the drum’s tuning system.
Provides a dedicated mounting point for tuning lugs and related hardware, helping secure the tension system to the drum shell. This structural connection supports proper distribution of tension across the drumhead, allowing the tuning components to remain firmly positioned during regular playing and adjustment.
Serves as a hardware replacement option for maintenance or repair of conga drums, allowing individual components to be serviced rather than replacing the entire instrument. This helps address wear or damage in the side plate area while keeping the existing drum setup intact and functional.
Designed to integrate into existing LP conga hardware systems that use Top-Tune configurations, this kit supports straightforward replacement within the original drum structure. It helps maintain compatibility with the existing tuning assembly, ensuring the side plate aligns with the established hardware layout.
