The specific houses are a too large (makes storage difficult) and they don't add anything to the mario lego experience. HOWEVER, the 1,2,3 blocks are awesome and can be used in any number of different ways, the cheep cheep spinner is very fun, and there are some additional interactivity that makes this worth it in the end. The houses were a little pointless though.

This is my 5 year old's favorite set thus far. (He has a lot of them). He loves the mystery chest that holds a secret block and the 1-2-3 blocks that you need to get all of. He also likes how it comes with two characters (Toad and Toadette) along with the villains. This will keep your children occupied for hours between building and play time

My son is a Mario lego fanatic. These Legos don’t come with an instruction book. Instead they connect to an app on your tablet or phone and can help your little ones not make mistakes by getting a 360 view of each piece. There are also secret games to play with the tablet. Highly recommend!

Neat idea. Took a while to build. Younger than age on box may increase time putting together. Overall cool idea and tech.

Our kids loved putting the set together. Wasn’t hard for lego enthusiasts aged 5 and 7 to do by themselves.
