MISLEADING PRODUCT NAME (Do NOT make my mistake!)

I would never have bought this except that it has the EXACT SAME NAME and is very nearly the EXACT SAME MODEL as the 82XJ0000US which has a touch screen and far better color. The screen on this model (82JX004AUS) is possibly the worst laptop screen I've ever seen. It is incredibly washed out and no amount of changing the brightness and/or contrast can fix it. Spend the extra money and get the better version. BestBuy needs to better distinguish between the two models. Extremely unhappy customer.

Mandatory software update locked my whole computer and wasn’t able to recover anything or restart it, became an instant paperweight

Stopped working, Best Buy no help

We purchased this laptop in August and in December it stopped working. Took it back to Best Buy, they sent it off and said the battery was loose inside. We received it back in February and after using it twice, it stopped working again. Took it back to Best Buy a second time and they want to charge us $84.99 to send it off even though they supposedly fixed it two weeks ago. Very disappointed!

Didn't realize what I was buying at the time
Ended up having to return the entire unit. It operating like a cheap toy the visuals were absolutely the worst I've ever seen

Right off, it got a virus. Had to shut it down until the battery ran down. Started it back up. Same thing. Good thing it wasn't expensive. Will look into purchasing something better.

Firstly, there are optional applications pre-installed within your IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook. These apps can be deleted easily by selecting the app with right click and choosing the uninstall option from the menu that appears.

To address your concern regarding the difficulty finding the info apps or files you need; Chromebooks include a Search Key making searching for files, settings, or apps easier. You can find this on your keyboard on the left-hand side that appears as a large colored-in circle. Finally, you can use the search bar to easily find what you are looking for.

Total Failure

It’s not possible to review this item as both your shipping department and Bay Shore NY store failed spectacularly in getting this to my daughter for Christmas. Stalled somewhere in Pennsylvania and out of stock at my local Best Buy I was sent on a wild goose chase some 30 miles away only to be told that that particular store did not have my item in stock as well. Also was asked by the department manager if I had reached out to FedEx to see where my Christmas gift was? I didn’t recall purchasing the computer from FedEx. Lastly when it finally arrived on New Years Eve I had to return it as other arrangements were made, no apologies no offer of gift card or store credit for future use, just a hollow thank you.

I purchased on 20 Jan with delivery scheduled for 2-3 days. It didn't arrive. I got an email with a notice "delayed, in the rare case it doesn't arrive by 5 Feb, we'll return your money and cancel your order". The computer arrived 26 Feb, money was charged. When I went to return it, I bought a different computer, I was drug through 45 minutes of why this happened and finally told I had to drive to the store to do a return. Not Happy
