Thank you for sharing your experience with the IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook. We are sorry that the device did not meet your expectations. The IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook comes in two configurations, one of which uses the TN panel that does not support touchscreen, we understand how upsetting it is to receive the wrong product, we sincerely apologize for any confusion and disappointment that arose from your purchase. We strive to ensure excellent user experience with all our products and are sad to hear that we missed the mark, there are a few tips that we can offer regarding the cool tone of the display.

Chromebooks have an integrated Night Light which allows users to adjust the color temperature of the display. To start, open the Settings app and select the “Device” tab on the left-hand menu, choose “Displays”, then select “Night Light”. From there you can adjust the display to your preference using the “Color temperature” slider.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are disappointed that the IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook did not have the features you were looking for. We understand the frustration that comes with purchasing a product that did not have what you believed it did.
