I purchased my new Chromebook on memorial day sale. Took a little time getting used to it but I was looking for an inexpensive, light weight and simple device for basic work and search. They should improve the volume key and sound on this device and I find that the screen is faint and illegible when close to a window.

Decent battery life, speed adequate, and looks great. It' a good Chromebook for the money. For school or business I would 've spent more for upgraded features. Basic Chromebook built well.

Bought as a last resort after my original laptop broke for good. Works pretty well and runs most standard programs; however, it is definitely not fit for more advanced systems (Revit, CAD, etc.). Good school laptop.

It’s OK. I had wished for the Lenovo typical keys and it does not have those and of course it was supposed to be touchscreen but it’s not. the distinct models with and without the touchscreen are too similar and confusing I suppose, and my attention when online shopping may be the culprit with so many choices and options. it’s an OK machine for the task of accessing Google docs. it actually types well and it is not as slow as the numbers would otherwise suggest. has a bit of a plastiky feel, of course, but the blue compensates for looks. it’s satisfactory. as with the ad long ago for chromebooks it won’t bother you too much if something happened to it. your files are secure.

Very basic and runs slow. Got it for virtual school for my kids but they complain about how slow it is. It struggles to load school pages, videos, and activities like Frax and IXL. Melon Sandbox struggles to work too.

The laptop was good. Unfortunately it was accidentally dropped from my desk to the chair and cracked the screen. I wish it was built a little bit more ruggedly.

The IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook allows users to scroll up and down using 2 fingers on the touchpad. You can scroll down by swiping 2 fingers upwards on the touchpad, to scroll up swipe downwards using 2 fingers. Your Chromebook is also compatible with many computer mouses on the market so if you would prefer you can always use a traditional mouse as well.
