Could this be used to replace the power cord for the Lenovo G 51. If not is there something you can suggest? Thanks
Answered by Lenovo Product ExpertNo. This is not compatible with the Lenovo G51 Laptop. Here is a link to a universal 65W replacement AC adapter/Charger that is compatible with the Lenovo G51 laptop: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-65w-charger-for-select-ultrabooks-black/4062039.p?skuId=4062039
Does this work with a brand new ideapad S540? The computer is not getting charged by its cord. I want to try another cord to see if it is the cord or is it the computer.
Answered by Lenovo Product ExpertIt is possible that the Battery Saver software on your computer is showing the computer - Plugged In But Not Charging. Let the battery drain unplugged to below 50-percent, then plug the computer back in to see if the battery begins charging. This 65W USB-c AC adapter/charger is compatible with the IdeaPad S540 Series laptops, should you need a new charger.
I have a Lenovo thinkpad X1 carbon, will this charger work with it?
Answered by Lenovo Product ExpertIf you have a 2017 or 2018 version of the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 carbon, with USB-c AC adapter power port on the computer, yes this 65W replacement AC adapter is compatible. Make sure you have a USB-c power port. Older Thinkpad X1 Carbon Models do not have the USB-c port port.
