This is a brand new 1/48 scale plastic model kit of the McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle Fighter Aircraft (Level 4) by Revell. The kit features colorful decal artwork, an optional open nose cone to show radar equipment, Sidewinder and Sparrow missiles, and a long-range drop tank. It contains 89 detailed parts molded in light gray unless otherwise indicated, with special decals for the Oregon ANG, 173rd Fighter Wing, and 75th Anniversary. Paint and cement are required (not included). The model comes in vintage-style packaging, is an officially licensed product, and measures approximately 16 inches in length, 10.625 inches in width, and 4.875 inches in height when assembled. The F-15C Eagle, introduced in 1978, was designed for air superiority with exceptional maneuverability, powered by two F-100 engines reaching a top speed of Mach 2.5. It features an internal 20 mm M61 Vulcan cannon, a “look down/shoot down” radar system, and can sustain up to 9 g while maintaining control. With a record of 100 air-to-air victories and no losses, the F-15C has been sold worldwide and continues to be in service with ongoing improvements beyond 2025. It comes in the manufacturer’s original unopened packaging.
