Customers frequently mention the reasonable noise level and the convenience of the included remote control. Users appreciate the typical oscillation features and the strong airflow, even at lower settings. The lightweight design and the sleek display are also well-received. Furthermore, customers find the fan quick and easy to set up.
I love this tower fan. It came in a large but skinny box. They include the base (you assemble it and it feels very sturdy and there is no wobble at all) and a nice remote control and a manual. I was surprised at how sleek and modern it looks, but also its very lightweight. This however does not affect the fan quality. It is simply superb. I was surprised how whisper quite it is and how much air it moves. Even at lower speeds (like at night) I blows a refreshing gentle breeze. It is also "smart". I connects to the internet (has Wi-Fi) and you manage it with the Vesync app. I must point that at the time of configuring the Wi-Fi, I had a little hiccup. My phone was currently connected to a 5ghz network and the fan only supports 2.4ghz ones. It would not connect. But I found a workaround. Just connect your phone temporarily to your 2.4ghz network, finish the setup and then, you can switch back your phone to your 5ghz network. Once the fan is already connected to the internet you can manage it no problem, even if they are on different networks. Once connected to the internet, the app also updated the fan's firmware. The app is great, you can manage all the fans features, create schedules (like I.E for when you go to bed). They also include a nice and compact remote. If you don't use it, you can clip it on the back of the fan (it has a slide in compartment). The fan has many functions. You can manually adjust the fan speed, if you want it stationary or oscillating, you can set a timer, a night mode (all the lights turn off and it will start at a higher fan speed and as temps go lower during the night, it will auto adjust-lower the fan speeds accordingly), there is also an auto mode that adjusts fan speed depending on the room temp. I love that it has a temperature sensor and a nice display. The display can show either the fan speed or the room temperature and the fan speed status, also Wi-Fi. The fan blows lots of air and I was surprised at how quiet it is, even when oscillating, there is no mechanical noises at all. I use it a lot at night as temps go down, I don't like using the AC, however since this guy has a night mode and can sense temps, it delivers a gently breeze, letting me sleep comfortably. Cleaning it is easy and if you want to do a more in depth cleaning, you can pop the back open to clean the inside. Highly recommend this fan!!! ******************************************************************************************************************* I will mention some quick PROS and CONS: +++PROS+++ +Great build quality. +Space saving. +Smart, connects to Wi-Fi and you can manage it remotely with an app. +Quiet, but blows plenty of air, even at low speeds. +Oscillates. +Remote included. +Status LED screen display. +Night mode. ---CONS--- -I could not find any cons honestly, maybe just the little hiccup I mentioned above when configuring the Wi-Fi (which I solved myself, and is not mentioned in the manual). -I doesn't filter air (but again, its not intended to do so, nor advertised as that, but would be nice if it had some basic filtering capabilities no?).

TL;DR: The Levoit Classic 36" Smart Tower Fan is a fantastic smart fan that is rather "smart" and does a good job of cooling. Unboxing: Super easy to set up, I went from having it in the box to up and running (and even connected via the app) in well under ten minutes. It came undamaged and the stand, though very simple, seems solid enough. Highlights: One of the standout features is the handy slot designed to tuck away the remote. Given that this is a smart fan, you might not use the remote often, but it’s a thoughtful addition for those who prefer physical controls. You can also use the control panel on the fan itself. The VeSync app is intuitive and user-friendly, and I find it to generally be more convenient to use as there are more settings and options in the app. The fan’s performance is impressive, providing strong airflow even at lower settings. I found that settings 2-3 were enough to keep me cool in what is typical for my local area at this time of year, around 75-80°F (or about 24-27°C). At lower speeds, the fan is super quiet, only becoming noticeably loud around speed 5. At speeds 2-3, it was adequate for cooling a medium-sized room and others in the room didn't notice any loud fan blade or motor sounds. For the performance, the relative quiet is incredible. The air blown also feels cool, and though it won't replace an A/C, it altogether is amazing at helping reduce (at least the perception of) heat. A highlight of this fan is its "smart" capabilities, which are actually smart! It can monitor the current ambient temperature and adjust accordingly, a useful feature for people who might tend to set and forget. I also strongly appreciated the auto turn-off display and mute functions, both of which are godsends when it comes to an appliance kept in the room where you sleep! (Also of note: the sleep mode enables these features by default. Super handy.) The timer and schedule are both nifty as well. From an aesthetic perspective, the sleeker and more understated design is nice since it can live in a corner of a room and not overpower it. There's also the usual oscillation features typical on fans, and at 36" it is a happy medium between a more compact and larger full-size tower fan. Drawbacks It's genuinely difficult to think of any. I do think this fan will struggle to cool a larger room, but tower fans aren't exactly renowned for actually cooling a room. I found that even with smart mode enabled, there was only a temperature differential of one or two degrees after running for an hour or so, and that could be chalked up to natural temperature fluctuations. To my knowledge, not even this fan can actually cool a room. That isn't to say that this fan doesn't provide a cooling effect or help to cool me down, but if you're buying this to replace an A/C or hoping it'll drastically reduce ambient temperatures you will be disappointed. Conclusion The Levoit Classic 36" is a good tower fan that manages to provide shockingly good cooling with some convenient QoL features that I hope become more standard to fans in general! It is a lovely addition to a bedroom cooling setup and will no doubt help on hot summer nights (or days). Just don't buy it expecting it to be on par with an A/C! Pros: - super easy to set up - has actually "smart" smart functionality - provides a great cooling effect with a quiet sound - ability to mute the fan and turn off its display (a must-have to avoid the more typical scrambling to cover the bright lights with duct tape or what have you when using it in a bedroom while trying to sleep) - sleep mode, timers, and scheduling - all handy features Cons: - not enough power to effectively circulate air in a larger room (which I honestly wouldn't even expect from a fan like this)

We were very happy to have our new Levoit Classic 36" Smart Tower Fan arrive just in time to use it for the current Chicago-area late Spring 90 + degree heat wave. Out of the box, this handsome and well-designed fan looks great with it clean, modern lines and black and white aesthetic. The only assembly was a quick and easy attachment of the cleverly designed base, which is held on with a large, sturdy plastic nut on the bottom of the unit. After a quick read through the User Manual, we learned about the various controls and modes. This fan has a default Normal Fan Mode that has fan speeds from level 1 Low through 12 High. We found that the fan puts out an incredibly quiet and wonderfully cool stream of air at Levels 4 and 5. When you add Oscillation, we find the whole room feels very comfortable. With these abnormally high outside temperatures, we find that placing the Smart Tower Fan in front of the air conditioning vent and placing the fan in Turbo Mode, which pushes it to Level 12 with oscillation does a tremendous job of distributing that extra-cooled air, keeping us extremely comfortable. In the Turbo Mode, the Smart Tower Fan checks the existing ambient temperature at the start of the mode and keeps it at Level 12 until the room drops 5 degrees, then it automatically lowers the fan speed to Level 6 and continues to monitor the temperature and automatically adjust. The next Fan Mode is Auto, which automatically adjusts fan speed according to the current room temperature using an algorithm where 70 degrees F or less is set at Level 1 and moves the fan's speed up one Level for every 2 degree F increases, where it hits Level 12 at above 90 degrees F. If the temperature decreases 2 degrees, then the fan speed will decrease one Level in Auto Mode. This is very handy and keeps you from constantly having to manually adjust the speed. The Levoit - Classic 36-Inch Smart Tower Fan has a special, what I call a considerate mode, which is called Advanced Sleep Mode. When you choose this mode, all lights and sounds will turn off (the considerate part) and the starting fan speed is whatever you select before turning on this mode. After 1 hour, the fan speed will decrease when the room temperature has stablized and will basically enter Auto Mode as temperatures may fluctuate. Very smart! You have multiple ways to control the Classic 36-Inch Smart Tower Fan. There is a classy-looking touch pad control on top of the unit. There is a nice coin battery powered remote control that has its own resting place on the back of the unit. And, like most smart devices, it has its own application that allows for remote control of the unit via your phone. This application is called VeSync and requires WiFi and creation of an account. The VeSync application will allow you to control all of your Levoit devices and let you connect your devices to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. We are extremely pleased with the Levoit - Classic 36-Inch Smart Tower Fan. We think it looks great in our home and does an excellent job keeping us cool. I would definitely recommend this Smart Tower Fan to a friend or family member!
