Right size, great features, easy to use, counter space roomy, slightly loud

I had to replace a Kenmore microwave that only lasted 5 months. This is a great microwave. My only issue is the fact the the keypad isn't either backlit or a different color. It can be hard to see if you don't have a light on. Other than that, it's great. I love the size. It's 1.1 Cu. Ft. which is bigger than my old one that was 0.9, but it doesn't take up any more space. It's bigger inside, than it looks on the outside. It's also a lot easier to keep clean with the type of interior it has.

This microwave doesn't take a lot of counter space and yet is powerful for my entrees. Easy to clean and I love the inside charcoal gray as oppose to the stark white! Price was great!

We like this microwave for a number of reasons. It's got plenty of power to cook and not just reheat. Most of our cooking dishes fit in it. We like the easy clean interior. But, this interior is painted a grey color which makes it hard to see your food inside the microwave. It's hard to judge if your food is being overcooked. One thing we don't like about this microwave is that the exterior is stainless with black buttons. The buttons have small print. Unless you place this in a brightly lit area, it is really difficult to read the panel and select the cooking temperature.

Easy to use, but really easy to clean! You will love it!!!

While it's a pretty standard counter top microwave, it has easy to use features and packs a lot of power. We had to adjust cook times from our old (very old) microwave, bit it works great.

This microwave seems to out perform all other microwaves in it price range. The open door push button performs it's task smoothly & better than any other type of open door mechanism found on most other microwaves including microwaves in the higher price range including other LG microwaves. This microwave runs efficiently & surprisingly quiet. The compartment is larger than most other microwave compartments in it's similar price range. So far this microwave has exceeded my expectation considering the low price range. This is the best microwave for it's value

This microwave is just average for the price. The positive feature is the sleek design, and the easy clean interior. However, the keyboard is very difficult to read, because the numbers are almost the same color as the keyboard.

We needed a small sized microwave to fit into our renovated kitchen and this one is perfect. It seems to have plenty of power for its size and the stainless and black look matches our other appliances. The controls are easy to use and it wipes clean beautifully. We made the store clerk plug it in for us before we bought it so we could test the noise it makes when it is done. We have heard some really annoying buzzers on other microwaves but this one has an audible but not annoying noise. If the size is right for you, it is a good purchase.

Been using it for 2 months now almost daily so I've had some good experiences with it: Pros: - It looks nice, modern, looks well in the kitchen counter top - Cooks well: didn't disappoint once about heating - Size is just enough, not too small, not too big for my 50 square feet kitchen - big plates will not spin inside though - Didn't have issues with cleaning - though the front stainless steel (the other parts of it are black painted) is a finger print magnet, but that's how SS works Con: - Loud: when it works it vibrates a lot and it's just loud. I found tightening one screw on the side helped, and even if you hold the side panel the noise goes down, but still is loud enough that when you hit "start" you want to walk away from it... this is something I couldn't get used to even after 2 months of use and it bothers me every time I turn it on, so for me this is a product flaw - others have reported this in the reviews as well. - When you adjust the power level it actually modulates the heating ON/OFF, instead of trimming it down and keeping it on all the time - so 60% power will make it keep turning the heating ON/OFF so it's on 60% of the time and off 40% while it spins - something I find a little weird as my two previous microwaves were a lot smoother and didn't do this (to be honest this feels like a cheap engineering solution) For a modern LG product I believe the high noise is an issue even though this microwave is not a top of the line, so I'd recommend people to buy other, more silent models.

This is our second LG microwave - the other lasted about 9 years. This is a great microwave, the only complaint is that the control panel is hard to see because it is black and the print is not a very bright white and some of the letters are very small...the numbers are easier to read and if you have a bright light on that helps, too. The microwave's dark gray interior takes some getting used to and it seems too dark inside, but it doesn't seem to be a problem when using it. The microwave itself is perfect for us, except for the control panel, and the EZ-ON, START and STOP on the panel's lower right corner and the numbers are what we use most of the time and they are bigger. The One-Touch Menu at the top of the panel is very difficult to see, but we seldom use it. We have had this microwave about a month and hope it does as well as the previous LG.

THE MICROWAVE WAS AFFORDABLE FOR ME SO I BOUGHT IT. I HOOKED IT UP AND IT WAS LOUD AT FIRST BUT GOT QUITER AS TIME WENT ON. IT COOKS MY FOOD VERY FAST AND IS VERY SIMPLE TO USE AND HOOK UP. OVERALL THIS IS THE BEST MICROWAVE I HAVE EVER HAD.

This was a perfect size for me or someone alone that mainly reheats in the unit. The light is good on the inside. I can fit my 10" dinner plate in it. The time it takes to cook is faster than my old unit. The feet are hard plastic. I found a fix by cutting an extra jar grip rubber piece into pieces for each leg to set on. Now it doesn't move as others mentioned when opening or closing the door. It is a little louder than my old one, but it is also easier to clean. I find the cycles easy to use and the dual programming makes reheating or cooking frozen foods without the normal burning you get from most a snap. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants a small microwave.

The main reason I got it was because it was the right size for the location I wanted to put it in. It also had a lot of features I really like. However it is very noisy as mentioned by other reviewers and as also mentioned the buttons can be hard to see. But those are minor issues to me. The only real issue I have with it is the rotating tray. I think the rollers underneath are not always making good contact with the above tray when a heavy cup or other such item is used because there is an annoying tray vibration/rattle that should not be there. It does not seem to affect the operation and otherwise it seems to be working fine. I've checked to see if the tray was positioned correctly and cleaned the parts but it made no difference. It's a shame because otherwise it's a really nice Microwave. I haven't had it too long so I'll just have to wait and see how things turn out.

After moving into a new apartment, we were told it was going to take about 4 weeks to get our stove working because of "line issues". We bought this microwave to use on a daily basis and haven't been disappointed! The operation was quiet, heated foods quickly, easy to operate, and the size compact enough for our space and powerful enough for what we needed to use it for. Overall very happy with the purchase and would certainly recommend it.

Had this micro for several months now and it is working quite well. The indicators/press pad for cooking time, etc. can be hard to see if this micro is setting on a counter top. Its easy to clean and is good for de-frosting and warm ups. Overall a good buy.

Its a good size microwave with many features. Does not have time display, some may like that, and it tends to be a little louder when heating or cooking certain things. Other than those few things it is a great micro; powerful, many great features, and a dark grey inside which is easy to clean and leaves no staining. I highly recommend this microwave.

This is a really good microwave, i had purchased another microwave from a popular brand that had few QA issue so I returned and picked this one up. Its perfect for its size and heats evenly. Had some loud buzzing sound initially but i figured out it was a slightly loose screw on the boby and once I tightened it the sound went away.
