The micro wave was fairly easy to install with the lifting and holding in place help of my 20 year old daughter. It functions as well was you would expect. It is a little louder the the GE that we had for 10 years. Other then the minor increase in noise. It works great. Use the template for proper mounting location.

We were seeking an economical replacement for our 10-year-old, top-of-the-line GE Profile microwave that suddenly died: turn-table stopped rotating & it would no longer heat contents. Given that we didn't use all of the many functions in our previous microwave, we opted for a lower-end model without all the bells & whistles -- small mistake. We have since discovered how useful it is to have a "sensor" to determine when an item is heated, and the difference that truly "one-touch" power buttons make. Note: this model does NOT have a sensor that automatically stops heating when foods reach their desired temperature. (Reheating items is based on the item (dinner plate, muffin, etc.), which requires that YOU, the operator, have to estimate how long an item should heat. E.g., to reheat a dinner plate, you have to select "1-dinner plate," then push start -- not the same is simply selecting "reheat" regardless of what you're reheating. And, in our limited experience with it, the oven seems to over-heat items than would happen if it had a sensor. This LG model seemed to meet our needs based on descriptions & reviews, and appeared to meet our anticipated usage requirements. Installation was not as simple as promised and, of course, installation holes didn't match those of our previous oven. Nevertheless, self-installation was manageable, if more time-consuming that expected. Since we haven't had it very long, and were on vacation much of the time since acquiring it, I can't speak much to how well it functions or its long-term reliability. We do miss some features that were on our former GE Profile model (auto-night light, one-touch power settings, a couple of other "auto" buttons, and, of course, the sensor) and it seems to be noisier in operation. We've also noticed that the tinge of the the stainless steel is a tad "more orange" than our other appliances (except it does match our LG refrigerator). Otherwise, we expect it to do the job as intended - mainly reheat leftovers & warm-up beverages, while we wait to see if it is as reliable as our former one.

I like the ease of use, the power, the functions and the light. I do not care for the interior of the microwave. It is not practical to clean if you have children or anyone who doesn't properly cover items being cooked. It has tiny little holes on the top and sides of the interior for splatters to get inside. I have no idea how you would clean it if stuff ever got inside all those holes without disassembling your unit. My teenager is not allowed to use it without me seeing that what's cooking is properly covered. I would have never purchased this unit had I seen the interior but I bought it online instead of going to store. Great product if you can properly cover food to cook.

Love this microwave. Price was great and very user friendly. If your looking for a reasonably priced microwave. This is it.

We purchased the LG otr Microwave as a part of a 4 appliance upgrade for our lakehouse. We went from all white appliances to stainless steel and the kitchen looks brand new. The microwave performs well and seems very accurate in its readings. It performs as good as we hoped!

Paper template included had under cabinet template and wall mount template were on the same piece of paper. Should be two separate paper templates. One drill hole was off by 3/4 inch. because of poor documentation this install took four hours instead of usual one hour. Flimsy quality, very loud fan, the light is dull and not adjustable.

Install was easy. This microwave defrosts, cooks, and heats up all we need. No confusion with complicated controls.

This unit was an exact fit replacing our old microwave. Was able to use the old mounting bracket. The two of us had it installed in less that one hour. We found it on-line 3/20/2020 because of the pandemic and it was loaded curb side with about a 10 minute wait. The whole process from finding it on line until it was installed and working was about 3 hours. We have now been using it daily coming up on one month. Thank you!

I bought the same brand and product number years ago in white and the microwave was still working after 12 years. When I upgraded to stainless I stayed with what I knew worked!

it was very difficult to put this microwave over the stove, big headache! but once we figured it out, we were happy. it works great. heats up nice.

This microwave fit perfectly, and has many options for cooking food. This LG product also looks good and complements other LG appliances we have.

I am very satisfied with my new microwave it works perfect hopefully I will not be needing another in a very long time.

Let’s start at the beginning. (September) As with some of the other reviews I found this installation to be extremely difficult as the paper template was extremely poor. Drill holes were off, and making sure to focus my attention on the right lines and arrows as I prepared to attach the paper to the under side of my cabinet was a struggle. Then (November), we used the microwave for two months and it stopped working. Just dead, no display, not lights, nothing. My power was fine, no tripped breakers and the outlet still provided power. I told myself that manufacturer defects happen and to just work through the warranty process. Well the warranty process was ridiculous as LG required the repair company to obtain parts from some international location that took weeks to get here. Here we are beginning of May and the unit has again died in the same fashion. No display, no lights, NOTHING. I’ve placed a warranty ticket but I just want my money back. LG has a good thing with TVs but their kitchen appliances are for the birds!!

Looks great in our kitchen and works Even better. Heats up quicker in higher altitudes than lower so watch your timing. The fan is pretty loud and would have preferred a quieter fan as it runs. We chose Ventless exhaust And this feature works great as well. Again exhaust fan plus motor fan makes a loud presence.

Very roomy inside and easy to install. Took maybe 15 minutes to install after removing old unit. The install design is so good that you can easily take it back down, if necessary, and put it back up. Looks great as well. Best one I found for the price.

Replaced a dead Whirlpool. This one has a much more modern look, stainless inside and out. It has a removable grille in the middle, and a turntable inside. Vent has two options- up and out and recirculate. There's also a downward-facing light. Mounting is by a back plate (template included) and two topside screws. The screws bear the actual weight. This was pretty similar overall to our old oven, save the spacing on one screw was a bit off (had to drill a new hole- thankfully it was far enough to not overlap) and the power cord connection had a bit of overlap with the duct we had from previous install. Wasn't a big problem, I installed it myself with some help. The only gripe I have is the light is very weak. Replaced it with an 8W intermediate base LED from Amazon and it's nice and bright now. The oven works very well and is not super loud.

I’ve had the microwave since April 2020 and it’s been great. It’s not loud, very easy to use, and the interior is easy to clean. I like that it cooks fast and I can press the 30 sec button a few times to get 60 seconds quickly. The stainless matches with the rest of my appliances and easy to clean. Buying from Best Buy was exceptionally easy and I’m glad I did.

This is a nice microwave with a very sleek design that looks very nice. Only downfall is there is no timer. All my previous microwaves had timers, and although it’s not necessary, I miss having one as I used it quite frequently with cooking. Very strong microwave that heats very fast.

Overall, very easy to use, cooks evenly and is plenty big for a busy family of 4. It is a little noisy, but not horrible for the price. Wish it had a quick button for 1 min settings.
