
+ We had a very negative experience with this A/C. We have been Best Buy customers for a decade and have always had great experiences. We are also Total Tech members. This experience has been a nightmare. When we searched for the A/C we used Consumer Reports and this A/C was highly recommended. Only one review said A/C was damaged. We thought that it was sad for that customer that this would not happen to us. We were wrong, it happened TWICE. The customer support for Best Buy was horrible. We were promised the A/C would be picked up by our local Home Services Geek Squad since it was too heavy to lift down a flight of stairs and then out in our truck to bring back to Best Buy. This promise was broken. We were told a gift card would be given to us for receiving broken A/C. This was then denied. We have been making calls since June 18 2025 and today July 11 2025 the AC was picked up by UPS. This is not our style to give a 1 star but we did not want this to happen to anyone else. If we could we would give 0 star for the A/C and 0 star for Best Buy Customer service. PS We kept the second broken AC since we have run out of patience with Best Buy Customer Service.

This is probably a great unit, however this was not designed to fit my (new) windows without excessive modifications to the window frame/sill. I have never had to think twice about installing any window unit, but this one just doesn't make sense - poor design.
