A: Using my infrared thermometer, I just measured the temperature of our half gallon plastic milk carton in the insta-view door and it was 37. That was a concern of mine as well but no issues so far. My guess is that reviewer did not wait the full 24 hours before loading up the fridge and doing their measurement.

Q: Does this come with a drip tray for the ice and water dispenser
A: Mine did not -- I even asked the delivery person when I noticed there wasn't one, and he confirmed that they don't. Because our refrigerator was damaged during delivery, we received a second one a week later as a replacement; that one didn't have the drip tray either, so I assume this is the way it's meant to be. Our old LG did have one, and I miss it; sometimes ice chips spill and now they just land or melt onto the floor.
Q: What shape is the ice? Cubes or half moon? Does it make a lot of ice?
A: The ice maker makes cubed ice, and can crush it, and there’s a separate ice craft maker in the below freezer, that makes two inch round ball ice.

Q: How many drawers are in the freezer compartment?
A: There are 2 drawers. however, the middle drawer of the fridge can also be a freezer if you need additional freezer space. You can change the setting inside the fridge on the right hand side when you open the door to your right.
A: Yes, but the installers stated it wouldn't fit so we had them just leave the refrigerator. Two of us opened both doors and were able to fit it through our 31" doorway. We did have to remove a couple of small pieces on top of the refrigerator corners which was no problem.

Refrigerator, great! Delivery team, terrible!
Initially, I was very unhappy because the delivery team had to remove the refrigerator doors to get it in our house. Apparently, during reassembly, they damaged the circuit board that’s located on top of the refrigerator. After plugging it in, our house breakers immediately tripped. The delivery team quickly blamed it on the house electrical system and scurried away. We had an electrician come out and check everything and determined that the problem was with our brand new refrigerator. We contacted Best Buy just to be redirected to LG. Three days later, an LG technician came and found that the delivery team pinched a wire that burned out the circuit board. Luckily, he brought a new one with him and got the refrigerator finally working. Why do I still give it five stars? Because the refrigerator is freaking awesome! You have to wait two days before it starts making ice, but after that, it’s great. It’s a gorgeous refrigerator with plenty of space and nice features! The beverage center with the see through door is nice! The craft ice is super nice, especially if you like to enjoy adult beverages from time to time, lol. To top it all off, its ultra large capacity ensures that everyone’s favorite food or drink has space! Our family loves it, even though the first week sucked, lol.

Love the new fridge!
This fridge is so spacious! There are three main features that led me to this specific model. The first one is the convertible drawer. I love the flexibility and the space of this drawer! I have a lot of cheeses and imported meats and I love that I can store them separately from the rest of the fridge. Plus the drawer is so spacious I also had room to store my husbands 12 pack of sparkling waters and a few additional beverages all off to the side with the provided divider. The other feature is the very large produce bins. I juice almost daily and our previous fridge barely had room for leafy greens, often times forcing me to break some of them and crunch them into the cubby. This new fridge has plenty of room for a weeks worth of leafy greens and root vegetables for my juicing needs, plus the bins are also large enough to accommodate the larger salad containers. The last feature is the craft ice which are finally starting to come out. I’m excited to use these! The door-in-door area is very handy and very spacious, easily housing all of our alternative milks, cocktail mixers, waters and other drinks. The freezer is plenty big and fairly easy to organize. I do wish there was a second drawer in there but that’s not completely necessary. What’s not so great: The shelves only have a few heights to choose from, and it forced me to place all of my taller sauce and salad bottles on the lowest shelf. The storage shelves on the left door also can’t be adjusted which is a bummer but I made do. There’s at least so much space that I was able to figure out an arrangement for everything. The metal back panel is gorgeous, however, it is also apparently prone to denting. I slightly dented/scratched the bottom of it while trying to change the height of one of the shelves as they are very heavy. So just be careful when rearranging your fridge. Luckily you won’t see it as there’s food covering it. Overall I’m very pleased with my new fridge and I’m happy to have bought this model!

Amazing Amount of Space! Quick access w/ Craft Ice
My wife always hated our past fridge due to lack of fridge space with the big ice maker in the fridge area. Well we do not have any space issues any longer as this fridges design is great with ice maker in the door and no dead space in the ridge area like our last one (Maytag). The InstaView door makes getting frequently used items so convenient and easy. I LOVE THE CRAFT ICE!! Best Buy had the best price on the fridge and I was proud to buy from a local Minnesota company. They delivered the fridge 3 days after purchasing where many others stores were weeks to months out to get inventory and get it delivered (Home Depot, etc). The Best Buy Pacific Kitchen rep was not salesy at all as they don't work on commission. Delivery team was exceptional getting this large fridge into our home with moving expertise to get it in our 36" wide front door. We are very happy with our purchase and how well the fridge has met our expectations.
