I would really give the cooktop itself 4.5 stars but give Best Buy 1 star. The actual cooking part is great. It has plenty of power and it’s quiet for being more of the affordable side. It was easy to install and cleans up easily. After a month I still don’t love the controls. They are hard to see and not very intuitive, but eventually I’ll probably get used to them. The “smart” part is useless. We are pretty tech savvy and it still took us an hour to connect it to WiFi, only to discover it pretty much does nothing. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has good eyesight and doesn’t doesn’t care about the smart part. As for Best Buy: stop selling things you don’t actually have. When my old cooktop died I was willing to wait a month to get this one. They waited until the day I was supposed to pick it up to tell me they don’t actually have it. We waited almost 2 months with no way to cook other than a crock pot, a hot pot, and a ninja grill. It was not fun. It would have been impossible if there was more than 2 of us in the house. I will never order an appliance from Best Buy again. I might have been okay with it if I had some notice, but don’t wait a month and then tell me you don’t have it at the last second.

Purchased to replace an older LG Induction Cooktop. This cooktop is easy to use, burners heat very quickly, it is much hotter at lower temperatures than my old cooktop. Only complaint is it seems to hold fingerprints more making it a bit more challenging to keep clean.

I bought this to replace a 22 year old glass electric cooktop. The old one never heated up fast and after years of spilling food onto the burners the surface just didn't look good anymore. The install was easy. First turn off the breaker to the stovetop. Just connect the ground wire, a white wire and a black wire. This thing heats up FAST. You can boil water in something like 4 minutes or less. The nice thing about induction cooktops is that the glass doesn't get hot. So if you spill food on the burners it will not burn. I wish I had replaced this sooner. I would recommend 2 people to install but that is just to help you put the top in place (just so you don't drop it). Not all pots and pans work on induction cooktops, so do your homework.

Installed as part of remodel. First induction cooktop we have owned and operation is straightforward. With no knobs provides a clean look and is easy to clean.

This induction cooktop has been excellent as a note its my first induction cooktop ever!. It heats incredibly fast, offers precise temperature control, and the UltraHeat power element is perfect for boiling and searing. The black ceramic surface looks very modern, neat and is very easy to clean. Controls are responsive and intuitive, and overall performance has been outstanding. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a new cooktop.

I was hesitant to try induction but I highly recommend it! This LG 30" unit has performed beautifully so far (2 months of use). I use magnetic cookware and followed all the recommendations for how to use the stove provided in the manual. I did have to buy some new pans and many of my old pans are no longer useful, but it's well worth the investment for the advantages of cooking with induction. Water boils quickly, simmering is excellent, and the stovetop doesn't get very hot and cools quickly for easy cleaning. I HIGHLY recommend this unit!! An additional feature is that the beeps are quiet and pleasant (unlike my microwave which is loud!!!)

It’s a great cooktop. It does everything advertised and for a fair price. My only complaint is that I wish the lettering was a bit more visible. It’s hard to see at times and occasionally I need a direct light source to see the numbers.

Looks great, sleek. Warms up a pot of water in 90 seconds. Easy to use.

Works great. Does make a low murmuring noise which is annoying. Too many safery features for on, off, lock, etc

It is a great product. We love how quickly it heats up the pots. It in fact took us some trial and error to get used to it so that we do not burn the food. One downside to it is that it has 4 cooking elements - one more would make it great. Also, there is a buzzing noise at low heat levels which is a bit annoying.

Excellent quality and easy installation. The cooktop is super easy to use and has a nice clean look.

Heats up very fast. easy to clean, very easy to use also. I also love how easy it is to control the temperature of the heating surface. Unlike standard electric cooktops, which take forever to cool down, this cools down very quickly, almost like a gas cooktop.

Great stove and cooks very well. Can be a little challenging to get used to from an electric stovetop but works great.
