Super thick doors so you must roll the whole fridge away from the back wall to open the bottom drawers. No toe kick space on bottom so if you stand too close to it when opening, you smash your toes. You can't change the height of the shelves (body and door). So much wasted space since nothing is the height of the shelves. I had to buy bins to organize. I went up in sold volume, but down in useable volume. The bottom drawers open from the bottom so you have to reach down almost to the floor to open the drawers. The water comes out tepid, not cool and not close to cold. And it took a week for the water not to leave a white residue in my glass - this was probably 10x the amount that was suggested to throw out after installing the filter. Who designs stuff this way? Crazy

I don't blame the store for this, but when I received the fridge and plugged it in there was a beeping that was coming from the fridge every 30 seconds or so. I checked the booklet and it said that it may either be the temperature alert, or that the doors were not closed all the way. After making sure both doors were closed adequately and waiting for most of the day for the temperature to come to setting it still was beeping. We contacted customer service. They sent someone out. They said that we couldn't get it fixed and needed a replacement fridge. When I called LG to get this done after only having the fridge for 3 days, they said that it couldn't be replaced. That we needed to contact the store and have them take care of it. So my husband unplugged the sensor that was causing the beeping and now we don't hear the sound anymore. Will not buy this brand again though.

Overall, it's a decent refrigerator; however, it's not worth the price tag. We have nothing but issues with *BOTH* ice departments- they stop working a couple times a week. The large ball ice makes a super loud knocking noise that is unbelievably loud and if we have company, we have to explain what the obnoxious noise is! The freezer really does not hold much in retrospect and the refrigerator part is pretty large in itself. I will say, having younger children and a father with Alzheimer's it's nice to have the knocking glass part because instead of opening the door multiple times and standing there to look for a drink, they can just knock and view what they may want first. The other major issue is the water dispenser on the outside leaks all the time. Not only am I always cleaning it but even if I leave something inside the "shelf" unit under it, it just also fills with water and will run down the fridge causing streaks. I guess to some these may be minor issues but to myself and the price we paid it's really annoying that it's not even a year old and we have these issues.

Nice design, water and standard ice dispenser work well. but wish I would have researched their Craft Ice problems before I bought. I can't help but think the reviews here are filtered. Check Reddit and you will find TONS of people complaining about the Craft Ice maker breaking or quitting after a year or so like clockwork. (Just after the weak 1 year warranty too, imagine that!) Its about a $300 replacement. So expect to replace your craft ice maker entirely every year or so for a few hundred dollars if you want to keep the feature. And a 1 yr. warranty?! RED FLAG if the manufacturer only wants to stand behind their product for 1 YEAR ON THE PARTS THAT ARE MOST LIKELY TO BREAK!! The joke of a warranty is telling. Unless you expect a fridge to only last as advertised for a year, thats as long as LG will stand behind it (for the parts that actually fail). Won't make the mistake of buying an LG fridge again. Their brand does not stand for quality.

The craft ice maker did not work from the get go. It wasn’t until after we bought the fridge that we learned a Class Action lawsuit has been filed in New Jersey against LG for knowingly marketing this “flagship” fridge without admitting the known issue with the inherent defect of the craft ice maker. A Geek Squad member came out today and replaced the ice maker with another of the exact same kind. He did say he thinks LG has come out with an “updated” craft ice maker to address the problem and if I have problems with the replacement he just installed, he will order the updated model and replace it again. Otherwise, the freezer freezes and the fridge cools. The knock-knock door is cool.

Best thing? Craft ice. Worse thing? Craft ice. Ice maker makes loud hammer sounds now only 4 months after purchase. When I call customer service in another country, they say someone will come out soon, but no scheduling so far. YouTube the craft ice maker problem and you will hear the known issue. Also, don’t buy for the door knocking light. It’s cute for a day, but then you’ll open the door anyway like you’ve always done.

I'm an LG fan boy so I had really high expectations for this one. Big let down. Ice maker is loud, and works when it wants to. Freezer gasket doesn't seal properly so there's a frost issue. Even on the lowest temperature the fridge doesn't really get that cold. Handles to open drawers are on the bottom, not the top where they should be. Bad design, and bad manufacturing. Don't waste your money on this one.

Extremely great buy however I do have some issues with the ice maker clumping up once corrected still a great refrigerator definitely no freezing issues adjusting temperature is awesome

The referigerator was installed on a Friday. By Friday night, the water filter area was leaking. Called Best Buy and Total Tech since I had signed up for this. Total Tech was virtually no help at all. They don't know the products and ultimately, after several calls, are having someone come out in a week. That person(s) is not a bestbuy person but rather someone they farmed this out to since they don't have any geekquad people available to help. The jury is still out but I'm not sure how I can keep a refrigerator that immediately started leaking and Total Tech has an okay pitch but the reason test is when something goes wrong. So far, something went wrong and Total Tech wasn't there to help.

Craft ice is a joke! Ina week only 9 ice balls formed. The ice maker is insufficient in making ice. It takes over 24 hrs to refill the storage system. Not good!! Storage inside both freezer and refrigerator is minimal. I bought the wrong refrigerator .

It’s pretty and the craft ice feature is nice but there are many design flaws with this fridge. There is no door handle so the the doors slam. The inside drawers don’t have handles and the lip that you grab the drawer by is on the bottom so you have to bend down to the floor practically to open the bottom drawer. Of course there are only two drawers and they are on the bottom. The drawers cannot be opened without opening the doors to the fridge completely. Very poor design. But it’s pretty. I did buy some self adhesive drawer pulls that work well.

This fridge looks nice, but it does not have a water reservoir for the water dispenser, only a water line. You will get about 5 seconds of cold water, then it just dispirited warm water from the regular water line.

Wish there was another drawer in the fridge. Not impressed with the ice maker, does not produce that much ice and it spits it all over when trying to fill a bottle. I don’t like that you cannot see the actual temperatures.

Looked good but ice maker was extremely bad. In more than 48 hours it managed to make 3 cups of ice and 3 half balls of craft ice. That is it for me and LG or Samsung appliances.

The metal on the doors and side panels is incredibly cheap, it scratches and dents very easily. I feel like every time I walk past it there’s a new dent in the metal and I don’t have the slightest clue how it happens.

Crew had to unbox to get it in the door and forgot to leave any manuals. We don’t have any literature. Ice maker is super small. No organization for eggs etc.
