The tv screen has been randomly glitching. The top third of the screen is just flashing pixelated colors. We never had a specific incident with the tv that led to the problem; this happened within 6 mos of our purchase. I expected more from an LG tv.

Hi, Aisha. Thank you for sharing your experience with your LG TV (43UT7000PUA) model. We understand how important it is to have a clear and reliable picture, and we appreciate the details you’ve provided about the screen glitching.
For this model, one helpful step is to perform a firmware update to ensure the TV is running the latest software. Outdated firmware can sometimes cause display issues. If the glitch continues after these steps, please send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com so we can assist you further. We're here to help. ^Juvy

The tv has a great picture and sound but the LG operating system is horrible. It doesn’t prioritize the apps that you use. It is not user friendly or user intuitive. Obviously who ever developed it never actually used it. The app takes forever for the voice feature to come on line and I had to buy a different remote for an additional $40.00 to use it. That was also not noted on the package or by the person that sold it to me. While it claimed to have that feature when I bought it. It also doesn’t support Alexa as advertised. Also a short power glitch resets the TV while my other TVs stay online. I would have returned it but I have it in my RV and I went on the road a few days after I bought it. I will not buy another LG TV.

Turning it on was a series of button pushing to get to Roku home page. Sometimes you turn the tv on and you needed to push the remote buttons differently. The sound stopped working more than once. I shut tv off and unplugged it but still didn't work. Then next day the sound would work. The remote is to cramped with buttons. Returned it and purchased a cheaper Insignia TV and it works great.

Hi, there. Thanks for reaching out and letting us know about your experience with the LG TV (43UT7000PUA) model. That definitely sounds unexpected, and we’d love to help get things back on track.
If your TV opens the Settings menu when you try to change the channel, we recommend checking the remote control first — make sure the Settings button isn’t stuck or being accidentally triggered. You can also try a power cycle by unplugging the TV for 60 seconds, then plugging it back in. If the issue continues, a factory reset may help: go to Settings > All Settings > General > Reset to Initial Settings.
