Customers appreciate the 48" Class B4 Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2024) for its exceptional picture quality, amazing black levels, and smooth 120Hz refresh rate, making it a great choice for gamers. The OLED quality and unbeatable price point are also well-received. However, some customers find the remote control takes some getting used to, and a few have noted concerns about the software and stand.
+ Great HDR Min and Max for this price range + G-Sync compatible + 120Hz for Gaming +Deep Blacks and Rich Colors, really showing off the OLED. + No noticeable burn in since being in heavy use from Feb 17, 2025 Currently, I don't have any negatives to report. Quality is great and the burn in worry doesn't seem relevant here as it has many features to keep this from happening. The colors are rich and the black levels are amazing for this price range. I've been gaming since I received it and have been having a great time enjoying the quality of image it provides. I recommend this TV for Gaming or a small bedroom for watching movies.

LG Has Mastered the Art of the All-in-One TV. This TV is truly in a class of its own and an incredible value. I've had it for over six months now and haven't had a single issue. The size is a huge upgrade from my previous desk TV, and it's definitely been worth it. It's a fantastic all-in-one TV for both work and play, with so many features packed into one device. When I'm gaming on my Xbox, the quality is absolutely fantastic. This TV is so good that I'm already planning to upgrade the rest of the TVs in my house to this standard. LG really holds its value over time, which is a big deal. I did my research for hours before landing on this one, and I'm so glad I did. I even bought one as a birthday gift for a friend, and it's been a game-changer for movie nights at their place. My favorite feature is the ability to turn off the screen while music plays. If you have a music subscription, you can just use the built-in microphone to ask the TV to continue playing your music with the screen off. The Magic Remote is another standout feature. When you shake the controller, a cursor appears on the screen, allowing you to easily point and click on apps instead of having to scroll through a long list. It's a huge time-saver. The TV comes with all the standard smart TV features you'd expect, like major streaming apps and a store where you can download more, including games. It even automatically recognizes when a console or computer is plugged in. For work, it's super easy to connect to. Just grab the remote and select the device you want to put on the screen either by pressing the input button or on screen import button to change the source. The sound is also incredible. I read a review that almost turned me away because the person said it wasn't loud enough. I have the volume set to 10 out of 100, and it's more than loud enough for the entire room. If you want to blast some music, you can turn it up to 100, and it's so powerful you won't even need a separate speaker. You can also play around with the sound settings to get it just right. The picture quality is equally amazing. The OLED display has crisp picture quality and can be adjusted to be brighter or darker. In the photo I provided, you can see a picture of a Cavetown album playing on the darkest setting. Even with direct sunlight coming in from an open window, the glare is barely noticeable and for example not even noticeable when the brightness is turned up which is provide it in the second photo. The HDMI 2.1 ports and 120Hz refresh rate are a huge plus for gaming and movies. Another great feature is the built-in Wi-Fi, which allows you to wirelessly cast your phone's screen with either Apple Cast or Google Cast. I love using this to show friends and family photos I've taken on a much larger screen. You can also connect any Bluetooth headphones or speakers directly to the TV. This is perfect for those times when you want to watch a movie and feel like you're in a theater or watch something early in the morning without disturbing anyone. Finally, you can also get local news channels for free with other TV stations for free as well as long as you have internet. The remote also has dedicated buttons for Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, LG Channels, Sling TV, and Alexa, making it even easier to get to your favorite apps. This TV is going to last me for years to come. A huge shoutout to LG for making such an incredible TV and to Best Buy for their excellent shipping and handling. They were kind and efficient, and the entire process was seamless. I highly recommend taking advantage of any Black Friday deals for this TV. If you're lost and don't know what TV to get, this is the one. You won't regret it. P.S. if you found this helpful please give it a thumbs up so others can see the comment as well.

The LG OLED B4 series is an impressive TV for its price, offering fantastic picture quality and a few standout features, though it’s not without its drawbacks. Picture Quality The TV's OLED panel shines with exceptionally bright HDR performance and incredibly deep blacks, creating a level of contrast that surpasses standard 4K TVs and even slightly edges out QLED technology. Whether watching movies, gaming, or streaming, the visual experience is immersive and vibrant. Build and Design The build quality is solid, albeit slightly heavy. However, this heft translates to durability and a sense of sturdiness. Mounted on the wall with bias lighting, the TV looks stunning and adds a premium touch to any room. Installation is straightforward, and the design feels more robust compared to many competitors. I use mine in a 12x12 room, where it fits perfectly. Additionally, I’ve noticed very little glare, even in bright daytime conditions, making it suitable for a variety of lighting setups. Performance and Gaming While the resolution and refresh rate are impressive on paper, the gaming features fall short in practice. Game Mode and AMD FreeSync didn’t work properly with my AMD RX 6800M GPU, causing the screen to flicker black or shut off entirely. As a result, gaming performance can be hit-or-miss. That said, the TV can function as a decent monitor when it works. I’ve had enjoyable gaming sessions, but the refresh rate never feels quite right, regardless of adjustments. Turning off TruMotion improves performance significantly. Smart Features The TV offers a wide range of apps and integrates seamlessly with Alexa. However, the AI features are underwhelming—I’ve noticed minimal benefits beyond slight sound optimization. Sound Quality One of the standout aspects is the built-in speakers. The sound quality is exceptional, delivering loud and clear audio that eliminates the need for an external sound system. It’s rare to find a TV with speakers this good. The Magic Remote The Magic Remote is functional but frustrating. The cursor behaves inconsistently—if you point the remote away from the screen, it gets stuck on the edge and moves prematurely when you bring it back. For comparison, a Wii Remote re-centers seamlessly, making the LG remote feel clunky and counterintuitive. Customer Service Perhaps the biggest downside is LG’s customer service, which is a nightmare to deal with. They make you jump through hoops to prove the TV has a malfunction before approving warranty service. You’re required to take photos and videos to document the issue, but the pictures often fail to send via text, requiring multiple attempts. Afterward, they may demand a video, but since you can’t record while on a call, they frequently deny warranty claims. This creates a frustrating and time-consuming process that undermines an otherwise excellent product. Despite the TV's strengths, purchasing it comes with the risk of poor support if anything goes wrong. Final Thoughts The LG OLED B4 series offers stunning picture quality, robust sound, and a beautiful design that fits well in most spaces. However, gaming performance can be inconsistent, and the customer service experience leaves much to be desired. While it’s a good TV overall, buyers should weigh the risks of potential support challenges.
