A good home theater surround sound system with good sound. However, the bass is a little weak and the back speakers are a little weak. I could live with that, but the back speakers don't broadcast vocals. For me, that's not true surround sound. If they would have told me this, I would have upgraded.

Bought open box described as “Excellent Condition.” Subwoofer has a hole in the cloth front and one of the rear speaker cabinets is dented. None of the components had been wiped clean — some had dust that I cleaned off. The speaker wire hadn’t even been replaced — a no brainer for a store trafficking in electronics. It was used and roughly coiled up. In any other store, I would have expected this unit to have been described as G/VG … and priced accordingly.

The sound bar is just fine. Yes. Just fine, which says a lot. I had an older Yamaha 5.1 home theater bundle that I setup in my wife’s classroom. I chose LG, because I have an LG OLED and figured that the WOW feature sounded interesting. I turned it on and it did not have the depth of the Yamaha. The subwoofer was pretty weak and barely adjustable via the app. The wireless surround speakers are a nice touch. Everything was fine, but now when I try to run a sound diagnosis on the app, it comes back with a ‘Soundbar amplifier failure detected’ message. I reached out to LG Support and ran through the basic trouble shooting steps with no resolution. Seems like this won’t be the soundbar for me.

Not the best soundbar out there, but also not the most expensive, so it sort of balances out. I replaced a cheaper soundbar and subwoofer with this set and expected to hear a little more a difference or improvement in sound quality but overall I am not completely impressed with it and I don't know if I will buy another LG soundbar since it seems like there are better options from competitors and I have not had good experiences with LG support/customer service.

I am not much satisfied from the product especially with central sound system. Base and speakers are doing their job delivers smooth sound but it is very hard to have clear audio from central soundbar. I have placed in living room with open cieling so may be this is only appropriate for small room.

The sounds are rich, clear and vibrant. We are disappointed that ONLY the "background" sounds come thru the rear speakers. We purchased this to enhance the talking portions of our TV because we have an extremely large room, and people in the back of the room have a difficult time hearing the TV unless we raise the sounds to uncomfortable levels

If somebody set up matched my 65 in LG B5 older TV perfectly except for the description set it was Wireless but the two back speakers one plugs into electric socket and the other one has to be connected by a wire to the other back speaker so it's not truly Wireless just a FYI but otherwise nice setup

When it works it’s great. For whatever reason it just won’t receive the HDMI-ARC signal sometimes. Have changed cords. Changed TVs to test. Everything. Great atmos sound and wireless surround is great for our bedroom, but the inconsistency is extremely annoying.

The bass from the subwoofer sounded weak, although I may not have the app adjusted properly. Yes, I said app. This app is a tangled mess to set up. LG is trying to make one app work for all their products, e.g., refrigerators, washers, et al. It made my eyes spin. I would much prefer a remote with all the functions available. If an app is now required, make it a single product line dedicated app - not one that wants to run everything in your home.

Not much in the bass. My old $69 computer speakers and woofer exceeded this system, but it died. It requires reconnection in the programing system frequently. sometimes when I turn on the TV, the volume is blaring and needs turned back down. It has to be configured and controlled from the smart phone. Very little, if any, noticable volume difference between the speakers. No strong bass output.

Sound bar was fantastic, but the rear speakers for the surround sound head static in them at certain peaks I ended up returning and buying a sound system for twice the amount

The soundbar worked perfectly when I first purchased it. For some reason im having problems connecting it to the TV now. I didn’t realize it wasn’t working for awhile. The bluetooth works fine with my phone to play music but wont connect to the TV no matter what i try

Great sound overall with a plethora of configuration options. The rear speakers require audio line between the left & right channels which creates considerable obstacles when placing them which is why I rate at 3 stars for a $500 system.

Sound is great but sub is weak! I hooked it up and it was easy hook up and loved the surround sound b ut the bass for the sub was not very good. My vizio was 4 times better sub sound.

Amazingly well packaged with no plastic, so 5 stars there. However, I'm giving it 3 stars overall. Instructions with no words, just sketchy drawings. It took us several attempts to finally get the "surround sound" (rear) speakers to sync with the sound bar. Same for the Subwoofer. The tiny rear speakers are....TINY!!! and so is their audio output. We're still trying to find how to adjust the audio output to these speakers, so no love there...yet. Knowing what I do now, I can not recommend this LG system. I would not buy it again.

It hard for an old man like myself to adjust the rear speakers to get the sound the way I like. The other draw back the rear speakers are not both Bluetooth there is an exposed wire that has to run from to the other.

I purchased for use with a Sony Bravia TV, so I cannot speak as to LG equipment features, but this unit sounds pretty good. However, it seriously lacks bass response and many of its features and adjustments are done through the LG app. Lacked proper documentation regarding features and tuning.
