Purchased this on a whim on sale for $349 around president’s day 2026. It is plug and play for an existing 77” B series OLED. Its primary use is for a kids gaming setup/occasional family movie night. For those purposes and at that sale price it is awesome value! Unpacking/setup was super easy, my only dislike and disappointment upon opening is that while the chosen parent rear speaker requires power the child requires a speaker wire ran to it thereby not making the system wireless. I just have the cable running across the carpet like a bum until a child decides to trip and wreck themselves over it. At some point I will have to address that annoyance because the rear speakers on level 10 make all the difference, especially at head level.

This is an amazing piece for small room size. Sound quality is great and Dolby with upfiring speaker makes a difference.

I’ve been using the LG S70TR 5.1.1 soundbar for about three months in my bedroom, paired with a 48-inch LG OLED TV. The sound quality is solid and works very well with LG TVs, especially through HDMI eARC. Installation wasn’t completely smooth at first. I had to read the manual from LG’s website because the quick setup guide wasn’t enough. The LED color indicators are confusing, and adjusting all the speaker levels took time and patience. Once everything is set up properly, the system performs well. Considering I bought it during a special promotion, I’m satisfied with the purchase. However, LG should improve the clarity of their setup instructions.

Rarely basic 5.1 setup. The saline is adequate for my room. It DID take some tweaking to get the immersive experience, but pretty manageable if you know what you’re doing. Subwoofer is almost twice the size of my previous setup and the sound difference is VERY noticeable. The hookup to the TV is painless. It says you need an HDMI (ARC) enabled tv to work, but mine is not and it works fine. (You only need it if you’re moving data back and forth from tv to sound system, which I’m not doing yet). Like I said, sound qualit is pretty good.

Sound is pretty loud and satellites are a nice bonus. Quality is great, but the bar itself could be a little louder

Great sound quality with excellent bass. The rear speakers are underpowered but they do the job. The picture show the bar mounted on a Samsung 48” S90

Does the job for my small apt however if anybody wondering the rare speaker and sound-bar are not wireless. I believe S80TR are complete wireless.

The sound is great I never had speakers for a tv before so it’s a big difference.

Sound is “Ok, not great”. While I kept this I went ahead and spent a lot more to get a Bose top of the line sound bar, satellites and sub for my family room / movie room. This is better than the TV’s internal speakers for sure.

It's an entry level surround sound bar with nice low end and the mid-range is good as well. Connectivity is simple and it works well with a universal remote if your only streaming. Price point is very good especially if you can catch a sale like I did!

This is your typical entry-level surround sound system that has good immersive audio, no noticeable latency at all, rich bass coming from the sub, and a clean setup due to the wireless satellite speakers. It pairs nicely with my LG C2 (which already had a great sound), utilizing the WOW Orchestra to provide the added layer of audio. It also integrates with the LG ThinQ app that allows near-full control of the system. Volume, Mute, independent DB control of the front and satellite speakers (more on that later), surround sound modes, equalizer settings etc. The only thing missing is the BALANCE. I happen to hear a little more in my right ear than my left, and didn't really notice it until I got this system. It would be perfect if we could adjust the balance. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. Perfect for my smallish 20Wx12D ft living room

This sound bar has excellent sound , easy to set up and i am really glad we went with this one . We chose to swt it up with optical since we have had issiues in the past . Using HDMI connections with other soundbars . This is the perfect companion to our Hisense fire tv.

The soundbar and speakers were very easy to get connected. They are not completely wireless because the rear speakers are connected by a wire. The sound is good quality for both TV and movies. The only problem is that the speakers frequently disconnect from the TV and I have to go to the app on my phone and reconnect. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

I like it, sounds good, but I am having some sync issues with my LG C5 tv, using pass thru for now. I don't like the remote, a little confusing to use. Overall still a. Good product and worth the price point.

Item as described. Great sound, easy install and connections. Only reason not a 5 is because of no on-screen controls. Full functionality is great on a phone app. Using with LG OLED and Happybwith the Holiday sale price too. Thanks Best Buy!

I paid $299 for this while it was on sale. For the price, I feel it is a good product. The sound is good enough for my needs. One downfall is that the rear speakers aren't fully wireless. The left speaker provides power and sound to the right one so there has to be a cable connected between them. I with both were fully wireless.

I purchased this along with my 65" LG C4 OLED TV to use the WOW Orchestra configuration, and without a doubt the sound is phenomenal! It was easy to pair the subwoofer and the back speakers and I get rich on-screen sound as well as off-screen surround effects! But I do often get a very annoying popping sound when when executing a play/pause/FF/REW both on my cable/DVR and on the streaming services running from the TV! I submitted a ticket with LG and they suggested a few things that helped, but required changing the WOW Orchestra configuration which noticeably degraded the sound quality, so not a real solution since that's why I bought a soundbar in the first place! There is no firmware update available for this model yet, but hopefully LG will resolve this problem soon! The upward firing center voice speaker is a little harsh in 'Standard' sound mode, especially on news type programs with mostly talking! I have settled on 'Cinema' mode as the best overall sound quality, great for movies, TV shows and sports, and good for voice! I look forward to a firmware update from LG that fixes this!

The sound quality on the LG S70TR is very good, especially for the price. One of the standout features is the dedicated center channel for dialogue—it actually works. Even during loud action scenes, voices remain clear and easy to understand without constantly adjusting the volume. The subwoofer delivers solid bass, and while the rear speakers get the job done, they could be a bit more powerful or immersive. That said, they still add a nice surround effect for movies and TV. Overall, this is a well-rounded home theater system that offers great value for the money. If you’re looking for clear dialogue and immersive sound without breaking the bank, the S70TR is a strong choice.

It depends on the source that is being played or viewed. Overall the quality is very good. I have not set up the rear speakers, yet. Even without them I get a surround sound effect that is powerful and brings me into what I am watching or listening to. Had issues at first linking it to the new TV. Rep (Customer service) helped with all my issues. Now I'm a happy camper. Movies, sports and music all sound wonderful.

This an excellent affordable and powerful soundbar with surround speakers. For its size and specs it provides enveloping and immersive sound with good bass.
