Bought this to replace old 35" tube in living room. Wow what a difference. Picture is really good and sound is good too. We're not utilizing a lot of the built in Smart TV features yet, but likely will. Have 3 yr old DirecTV tuner so have not seen what 4K looks like, but I will when I change TV service very soon. I do want to mention that the first set I brought home had an invisible line right down the center of the picture. One half was lighter than the other. I took it back and exchanged no problem. The second set did have a little challenge with the wall mount screws. One of the screw mounts (top/left) inside the TV was just a little deeper than the others so that we could not get a screw to bite once a bracket was added. Had to get creative. Besides that it's a really nice unit so far.

I did a little research and knew I wanted a 4K smart tv minimum 50 inch. What sold me on this tv was the price. It was priced very well and i love the resolution. I have been to other friends homes where they have a similar 4K tv but for whatever reason I have notice and so have they that this Lg tv is far more crisp and clear. I plan to buy a bigger tv down the road and I will definetly stick with Lg

I got this at $399.99. The tv works perfectly. Minimal light bleed which is seemingly present in most displays. Very good contrast. Plays 4K on Netflix right out of the box, can't wait to get a 4K blu ray player or an Xbox one s.. Setup was easy and web os 3.0 is really snappy and easy to use. The best smart tv interface I've ever used. Wifi has a strong connection as well. I would have preferred a normal stand over the widely separated feet which limits where you can put it, but it works fine for my stand. The remote isn't the greatest but it gets the job done. I would have preferred the magic remote but at this price I can't complain at all. Also worth noting is that there is only a power button built into the tv. So you will need the remote for everything except turning the tv on and off. I can't speak about the reliability of the tv but LG always has a good warranty that they do stand by and Best Buy offers extended ones that are worth a look. If you don't need 3D and all the extra features of more expensive sets this will be a great UHD TV that should last many years.

Previously I had a solid 720p Panasonic plasma, a Roku 3, a home theater receiver and speakers, a DVD player etc. This plus the LG SH4 sound bar, and a tiny LG dvd player, and it all fits on the mantel! The tv has great integrated smart features and you can also cast to it for Pandora and YouTube from your phone. The one downside is that it doesn't support as many apps as the Roku ecosystem does...but the trade-off is that it does have a built in web browser which afaik the Roku does not. The picture is great too compared to my old 720p plasma even for DVDs due to the upscaling. It also weighs ridiculously less and takes less electricity and gives off way less heat. I'm a very happy customer.

I purchased brand new for $399.October 2016. I was looking for a low cost TV to put in a living room that had the DIRECTV RVU capability. Since 4K TV were getting so cheap I decided to get a 4K instead of a 1080p for a little future proofing and with this specific model it didn't break the bank. For the price I paid this TV fits the bill perfectly. Decent size, would have liked at least a 55 but this works, picture is fine, nothing noticeable or glaringly bad. I little dimmer than I normally like, meaning I had to adjust the backlight higher than I normally do. This TV is for mostly watching TV and an occasional movie Lots of apps and able to cast to TV. Takes a little bit to connect to the DirecTV genie but once connected it works great. All in all a great budget TV for non-videophiles. Oh, and an with flat screen, the sound is not the best but enough for regular TV. A sound bar fixed that no problem.

This tv is good deal for its price. It is a smart tv with 4k quality. I usually use Roku for Netflix and Amazon Prime videos but the LG smart TV apps provide better quality pictures. The quality of its sound is also great! The setup is easy and intuitive. I recommend this TV for sure.

Very clear image, loving the smart TV features perfect for movie night with built in Netflix or Hulu. The TV itself is thin and not bulky like others. The sales rep said this was the anniversary model and was just like the regular models internally but Not by looks (externally) AND this was more affordable because it was on sale so my bf and I clearly opted out for this one.

Easy set up, even better picture. Lots of features! Love the price even better. Other 4K's have higher price points but not willing to shell out another grand. Perfect for a small apartment living room! Will not disappoint!

We bought this TV in the store because it was on sale and had lots of features. Installing it was very easy because the TV is very light. The picture is great. Setup is easy. Very happy with this purchase.

I was browsing for 4K TVs and finally settled on this model. Had a regular HD set for a few years and decided to upgrade. On the Best Buy app it was listed as $50 cheaper than it was in the BB store down the street from me, and a sales associate was kind enough to give me a $50 credit. All I wanted was a decent-enough, affordable 4k TV to get me through the next year or two with my Xbox One S. The video is great and sound quality is too, given that it's built-in. But it didn't take advantage of many of the One S's features.... until I dug deeper and SURE ENOUGH, one you turn the Ultra Deep Color option, you can activate the HDR settings for this set. Makes everything look much better! Highly recommended!

We love this TV. It's very user friendly and the picture quality is great. I had a bit of a problem with the volume but we just bought a sound bar. We bought this awhile back Adam open box item and have not had any problems with it at all.

This TV is great for the price. I got it on sale for $399. It works well and I love the smart features. One really annoying thing was that my universal mount from another thread that is the same size doesn't fit on it. I had to modify it a little bit.

Prior to purchasing this tv, I had a vizio 50" 4k. Not only is the picture/colors much better, but the user interface is great on the LG. WebOS is a great OS with many apps and features. Great tv for sports or movies, not a lot of motion blur. My only complaint is the bad placement of the buttons on the remote. This can be fixed with a magic remote or by using the LG tv app's remote on your smartphone. Do your self a favor and get this tv, you will not be disappointed!

Great starter 4K TV if you are on a budget. It's about 30lbs(lightweight) and the picture quality to me is the best for its price. Don't listen to the other posts saying this is not HDR, it is! HDR Pro is LG's HDR10 and this panel looks great when using Netflix and other apps on WebOs 3.0. Web OS is also very fast and snappy, works well with Plex and was able to DirectPlay all my movies from in-house server in 1080p. I have not tested 4k

Got this tv for my bedroom. Has some motion blur which is expected in this level of tv but for the price it's not bad. The internet apps work really well, although I wish you could get more apps (ex: WatchESPN) but it does have numerous apps available. Picture is clear and crisp with some manipulating of the settings. I have it four stars because of the price. I believe I got it for $500. So, for the price and features it is worth it.

Bought this tv for my father after buying one for myself. Superior quality. Comes loaded with features and surprisingly an affordable price for a 4K UHD TV! Highly recommend!

I bought this TV after comparing it to several other ones of this size and class. I liked this one best, and don't regret buying it. It has a great picture, and has all the cool features one can wish for. It looks great in my living room, and the price I paid for was super, especially since it was on sale. But I would have bought it even if it wouldn't have been on sale. I love my new TV.
