I bought this TV because of all the positive reviews, but when I brought it home I was disappointed with the TV and surprised by the positive reviews. Starting with the assembly - attaching the legs to the base was not straighforward and the instructions didn't clearly show how the legs fit into the base. I looked online for videos and none of the videos showed how these particular legs attached. So I had to go into the store and someone working at the store had to detach the legs from another LG TV to see how they fit. Next, and most importantly, the picture. For the programs I watch, the picture appears washed out and the actors' skin color shows in unnatural tones. My old plasma TV, which recently went out, had much better picture, and so does my old smaller LCD TV that I keep in my bedroom. I never even had to adjust the settings with those TVs. But with this TV, I tried different settings and recommend settings and I can't get the picture to look right. And then the remote - the remote is cluttered and the buttons too small. I would return this TV except I just missed the return window. Plus, I don't know what 50 inch TV on the market will show a picture as good, if not better, than my plasma TV. OLED TVs are supposed to have a good picture, but there are few, if any, 50 inch OLED TVs. And I can't go into the store to see what TVs have the best picture. It used to be that I could go into a store and see most TVs playing the same program on network TV and that would help me see which TV has the best picture. That's not the case anymore.

I like how it fills up a whole wall. Mounting it was easy but heavy. It has ok amount of inputs. Very inexpensive. I didn't like that it's to big that 4k almost isn't enough. 1080p games tend to look stretched or pixelated.

My only issue with this TV is the darkness. The TV gets nowhere close to black, and it can hinder gaming performance. Other than that, good quality with an easy to use software.

TV has a great picture, for the price. I buy TVs today for the smart part, . The new OS operating system will not let you download Apple TV or Fandango. It directs you to go to the web in search. When you go there, there is no way to download one the tv. It’s for phones or Apple products. What’s the use of Smart tv when you can’t download apps.I contacted LG support, they responded but only gave me the basics, I already tried. Bottom line the OS app has removed Apple TV and fandango. If they don’t update the tv , this will be my last LG TV. I always buy LG, because of the zoom, the only tv that lets you fill the screen. The sad thing I would rate a five, I love the picture. They just updated these TVs to remove the sites. I hope they will update with these two apps possible, I would change my review. The only way to get these apps is to use a fire stick.

This TV has an excellent picture nice and bright for my outside patio however, this is the slowest interface on any TV I've ever seen you have to push a button wait push the button again and wait for it to switch between the options of the smart TV.

Great looking video but the OS interface and remote functionality a bit of an issue. LG’s interface is basically a big banner board for ads at the top. Additionally, the response time between the remote and TV can be extremely slow, which is frustrating if you think you are doing something wrong and then it starts processing the buttons you pressed 10 seconds later. Major red flag for a tv that was only used for a few weeks, so I’ll be returning it.

I got this tv because of the price and reviews. When i got it home i noticed the sound was good and it was a good size. It fit my space well. Unfortunately, a day or 2 in i noticed that the picture distorts quite often for a couple seconds. It happens while watching any app. And i also have a roku attached. It happens when im using the roku as well. I wish it was better quality, but i will have to make due.

Overall its a great television, but for a 50inch LG it looks as if its a 42/48. I have another 55inch LG throughout the house and its huge. Thats why I came back to buy another, but not pleased with the size, quality love.

TV is a good value for the money however the Sales Associate misrepresented the remote. It’s not the same remote as the next model up. It’s very slow changing channels and streaming apps.

I purchased this TV as a replacement for my previous bedroom TV. Although picture is decent, the performance of the apps and remote are very frustrating to the point I decided to attach an old Roku stick to get it to run faster. Definitely the Roku was a good workaround to fix the lackluster performance of this TV. Very disappointed, the older LG TV this one replaced had much better performance.

It does the job, but the picture is too "grainy," and streaming is delayed (not my Wi-Fi, because our last tv was lightning speed)! Also, I would highly recommend a backlight in the remote! We'd like a shoutout for the future upgrade! :)

The remote is slow to react and not easy to navigate. The input for antenna and cable is placed poorly for hookup and wall mounting. Not much of a improvement of the LG that it replaced,
