Q: Do I need a water drain lines for this unit
A: When the internal water collection tank for the LG 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner and Dehumidifier Function with LCD Remote, Model # LP1417GSR gets full, 'E5' is shown on the display and the air conditioner will shut off and you will need to empty the tank then. The air conditioner has a self-evaporative system and will recycle the condensing water to cool the condenser. This helps to make the unit more energy efficient for you, but if you're not in an area of high humidity, it will reduce the frequency of having to empty the unit. ^CP
