There's not a ton of options for through the wall acs with 12,000 btus and this one is a newer model from LG with mixed reviews. I decided to go with it because I have had good experiences with LG and I'm impressed. All these complaints about noise are a bit puzzling as this is not any louder than most ac's at this level of power. The unit itself is very good looking and comes with a very simple easy to use remote. I got it on sale with a discount but it is expensive at 600 bucks ( like most at this level of btus). Overall, very happy with the purchase.

So easy to program, cools really well, fairly quiet, and nice looking. The price was right. Suggest getting a spare filter, as it requires filter cleaning every two weeks. The spare means no waiting for the filter to dry while you roast.

I was looking for something comparable to the a/c I had that died and this fit the bill just right. It's the perfect size and is sleek and clean looking. The only drawback is that it is a little loud but it does a great job of cooling off my space.

Noisemakers air conditioner are us. Good lord rubber bumpers on bottom of unit in mount might stop some but it is truly the loudest A/C I have ever seen. But really cools great, after 1 month of no A/C in Arizona I will put up with my new Noisemakers!!

The air conditioner works and cools the apartment. However, the vent doesn't have a rotation up only side to side.

very good choice. I purchased 2 of these (but 8000 btu) in the past. one lasted 9 years, the second one is still going. LG seems to be reliable brand in AC space. hope this one will last too (it is 118500 btu). so far so good.

I am a total tech member and have been very happy with the benefits and service to date. On this most recent purchase very frustrated. Ordered an a/c unit and it has been on continual delay. Today I was told I could pick it up in Portland Maine. None in stock so switched back to my first choice in NH. Very frustrating!

I bought this unit because I think LG is a good brand, but I’m not sure what’s the issue, it’s cooling ok, but then blows air like a regular fan, although it’s set to cool setting. So my room is not cool as it should be
