Firstly I do own more than one 50+" 4K TV. Comparing this one with my other one I must say I fell in love with this one. My Pro's. Beautiful display, can't see source light, smart OS easy to use, Sound is decent, Optical out, immersive, high quality construction and great design. My Con's. No composite input (children's plug and play classic Sega game console). Other than that I have absolutely no complaints for what I use the TV for. Now if I was play a high FPS action game like COD at 4K I'm not sure of the performance and can't really speak on it since I do not own a 4K-PS4 or xboxone. I just have the second gen PS4.

The picture quality is astounding. The clarity is stunning. What surprised me the most was the sound quality. I started watching tv and when my partner came in he asked why I had the sound bar off. (Denon heos...get those too) I just wasn't paying attention, there is obviously a difference in the soundbar quality and the tv speakers. It would be extremely contraindicative to compare the two; But I was amazed by the sound of the tv speakers alone!!! The only inconsistency in the absolute superlativeness of this tv, was the redundant task of entering your account information on all the apps using the remote alone. If there was a way to use a URL connection to type via my computer or phone, then it was well hidden because we could not find it. So the incessant typing like I was using my grandmothers jitterbug consumed much time setting up.

The TV is a gorgeous design, I get a lot of compliments from people when they come to my place. It's also lighter than I thought it would be. The picture is consistently smooth and clear.

Pixels on this tv is amazingly clear. Very thin and fairly light. I have yet to explore all features on this tv but there seems to be a lot to learn and play around with.

Good TV but the light from edges kills the rating.

The LG 4K Ultra Smart TV is by far the best TV I've owned. The picture is very clear and I never have problems connecting to the internet. It's easy to use and makes moving watching so enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great Smart TV at a very reasonable price.

I bought this TV during Black Friday, where it was only $500, and I have to say it really surpasses any other TV within the price range. The picture is great, it's not as "dramatically colored" as some of the other brands like Samsung TVs, but it is still vivid and incredibly mesmerising to watch 4k titles. I like the aesthetics of the TV itself, as well, as it has a higher quality look to it compared to the lower end Samsungs and Sonys with the mono-stands. Frame/refresh rate are good. I have experienced a few image stutters, but I chocked it up to being on the wrong image setting (I think I was watching a 4K show on Amazon and had it on 'game mode' screen setting.) Besides that, it is an all around great TV, with great apps built in, lots of features, inter-device compatibility, and perfect size. The only thing I kinda wish was different is the remote—it's not a bad remote, but it feels like a remote from 3 years ago (same old rubber buttons, no touch-enabled area which makes typing a real pain, and it still has that slow IR feel when pressing buttons, sometimes resulting in pushing the button 2-5 times to get it to do what you want.) Fortunately, you can use your smart phone with the LG app as a remote.

Excellent picture and is a smart tv which is a must have for Netflix alone. Easy to setup just choose the HDMI setting. Got this on Black Friday deal for four ninety nine. Can't beat it!

For a $500 55" 4K TV I could not have expected more. I purchased this TV on sale after reading reviews and seeing a great price decrease. Overall the picture quality is pretty good. Not expecting the picture quality of a $2k TV or even a $1200 but for this price range is the best you can get. Can not rate sound quality as I use a Virtual Surround Sound system. LG smart Tv set up was very easy to use and visually appealing. There is even a live TV option which provides internet TV channels in a format thay feels like you are changing channels on a standard TV. Overall if you are looking for a great TV at an affordable price this is the one.

Was on sale and had all the features I was looking for. Smart TV, 55 inch, lots of easy to use features, set up was simple. I paired this with a two piece sound bar. Great picture and a great sound very happy.
