We had and old LG tv that we adored and used the heck out of for 10 years. We wanted something larger above our fireplace and decided it was time to upgrade. Obvious choice was LG since our first was so great. What a disappointment. This TV sucks! We should have returned this item. What a joke. The LAG! It is so slow. Processing time is so frustrating, some days it just thinks for way too long. It force closes all the time and just shuts down. It requires many updates, and every time it does an update it forgets the settings moves all the apps on your home screen and logs you out of apps.my father in law bought a Samsung a week after we got this TV and it is so superior to this item in every way. I have so much regret in this purchase.

So LG is hiding behind the stats of last years model. The 55QNED80URA is great. 120hz refresh, magic remote, and a faster processor. The 55QNED80TUC (this product) a slower refresh and the UI is so slow it's miserable. The picture quality is ok but there is so much artificing around fast moving objects it's awful. The sound quality of the speakers is abysmal. No doubt a con to make you buy a sound bar. Just be careful if you are expecting an upgrade from the 2023 model, THIS IS NOT IT! This is a huge down grade!! You are better off getting the 55QNED80URA if you can still find it. The price difference is worth it.
