I absolutely love these LG combo washer and dryer be aware that Best Buy sends out repairman and they try to panhandle you by asking you for a donation out of the goodness of your heart when you pay for services that they are supposed to honor and some of the workers don’t follow those guidelines, so if anyone ask you for extra on a job when it’s not for repair services as in if you have a washer and dryer that you’ve had for a while, then you will have to pay for services but if you buy some thing and the services does not work, these men are not allowed to ask you for any compensation, which they do so just know that other than that dealing with Best Buy is OK other then, them asking you to pay for a certain day for delivery and they don’t deliver the service that day then they make up reasons why they can’t deliver it so try not to have anything sent out in November or December I will say not all guys that come out are back the second pair of guys I received were absolutely phenomenal. They fix the problem quickly thank you Jose from JB Hunt, you rock and partner

We like the dryer. However, after three attempts, we still have a dented dryer. We have learned that the replacement will come in March We have been inconvenienced as to service.

Dryer does not dry well

after 15 years with no issues with my Samsung set, I decided it is time to refresh my laundry appliances and selected this LG set based on the 4.5 reviews at the time. What a mistake. The system is less than 4 months old and I am already having issues with both the washer and the dryer. The normal dryer cycle does not dry well. If you have a towel or a thick cotton piece in the mix. Even heavy duty cycle won't dry towel or cotton cloths well. Luckily we live in Southern California and we use the sun to complete the dry cycle

Disappointing, even annoying

I bought this as a companion to an LG washer, and they certainly LOOK nice together. They also "play well" together because when they're side by side it's easy to transfer laundry between them. But the "built-in intelligence" in this dryer is none too smart: it invariably thinks a load is "done" when towels, socks and waistbands are still unacceptably damp. Far worse, though, is the insipid "tune" it plays at the end of a cycle, and the fact that it's apparently impossible to silence that feature permanently; it must be done with every load!

5 stars dryer, 1 star installation

Dryer works fine. Installation was dismal. Everything finally working after two separate visits by two different Best Buy installation contractors, and our own plumber coming in to fix the leaks. My guess is that Best Buy is reliable enough for installations in a relatively new, standard home, but can't handle custom designed or older homes.

Dryer did not get real hot and I had to dry my clothes 4,5 times just to get them dried. Returned and purchased a Samsung dryer instead.

I absolutely love these LG combo washer and dryer be aware that Best Buy sends out repairman and they try to panhandle you by asking you for a donation out of the goodness of your heart when you pay for services that they are supposed to honor and some of the workers don’t follow those guidelines, so if anyone ask you for extra on a job when it’s not for repair services as in if you have a washer and dryer that you’ve had for a while, then you will have to pay for services but if you buy some thing and the services does not work, these men are not allowed to ask you for any compensation, which they do so just know that other than that dealing with Best Buy is OK other then, them asking you to pay for a certain day for delivery and they don’t deliver the service that day then they make up reasons why they can’t deliver it so try not to have anything sent out in November or December I will say not all guys that come out are back the second pair of guys I received were absolutely phenomenal. 5 stars dryer, 1 star installation

Dryer works fine. Installation was dismal. Everything finally working after two separate visits by two different Best Buy installation contractors, and our own plumber coming in to fix the leaks. My guess is that Best Buy is reliable enough for installations in a relatively new, standard home, but can't handle custom designed or older homes.

Not a great dryer

Dryer did not get real hot and I had to dry my clothes 4,5 times just to get them dried. Returned and purchased a Samsung dryer instead.

This dryer is very weak. If we're washing jeans, even if it's just four pairs, we have to run them twice. Very disappointing.
