The new LG washer and dryer work ok, but I regret my purchase. There are too many programs, and I miss the simpler machine. My biggest mistake has to do with their size. I knew my space was limited, and focused on the overall depth of the machines, rather than the shape. They measure an inch less than the old Samsung, but the Samsung had a smaller, thicker door on a curved profile. That door gave the machine an added inch. The LG is more like a solid cube with a wider/flatter door. That makes it so that it barely clears the swing of the door entering the room. The 2 machines take up more space than the older Samsung even thought they are 1 inch smaller. My mistake.

Okay dryer. Sensor does not work great so clothes are often damp when cycle is done. Sometimes have to clean lint filter in middle of cycle. Large capacity.

We're on our second dryer ine month but that is due to the Best Buy installation crew. They damaged the unit and vent and had to get another one. So far it works pretty well. The dryer sensor doesn't completely dry everyone 100% of the time but very close. We haven't used the steam function yet but so far it seems like it does the job and looks great.

This is a great washer with ridiculous technology. It's wireless! Use your phone! Download the app! If I wanted to delay the wash start for a couple of hours on my old machine I pressed a button and then toggled through times then selected one. I did the same thing on this machine by entering my name and address on an app I downloaded from the play store. Then I walked over to my machine and turned on the wireless connection. It would have been great if I could have just delayed the start while I was pushing buttons on the front of the machine. But I can't! I have to use the app! To me, the term Smart Technology is a real misnomer in this situation. Love the machine. Well built and reliable. But if I can't operate it without an internet connection I will most probably return it.

Love our new washer and dryer so far...but the delivery/install team were extremely rude. One of the guys even got into an argument with me because they both stopped working when they left, and I called them and asked them to come back...and he said I messed with something and made them not work. I love Best Buy, but they desperately need to stop hiring 3rd party for delivery and install. I feel like I never have a good experience any more when they come to deliver anything unless it is the geek squad, which is never is for appliances.

I can’t say I love this dryer. It does the job efficiently when I choose the correct settings. Here are some good things: Light inside the unit. App connectivity Timed dry choices Things that bug me: No dryer delay start, The sensing drying option don’t do well with mixed loads. Jeans are still damp for example. So I have to do time dry on any mixed loads. The time dry defaults the temperature to high when I turn it on and if I change it to low then change the time It resets to high temp dry again. You have to be careful or you’ll end up with shrunken clothes. I wish we could program more custom settings

Product is great but delivery was questionable. They were late, though not as big of a deal since they may have been delayed at prior stops. However, while installing they said they forgot a part at prior stop so had to go back. When I asked what part, it ended up being the entire dryer. They delivered two dryers to prior stop and brought two washers to mine. Luckily the prior stop didn’t get install so they were still in the box (as far as I know) in their garage. For future large appliance purchases I’ll most likely be using a different local company that has own trucks and employees; not a third party company that shows up in an enterprise truck. Left reviews on both surveys I was sent after install but didn’t hear anything back. Doubt I do here either.

It's pretty quiet. The sense dry feature always leaves the clothes damp, but this has been the case with every dryer we've ever owned. We use time dry for everything.

Bought this along with the 4000HWA washer. It looks great but when drying it doesn't do a good job unless you choose the option to extra dry. Apart from that its okay. In the older dryer we didn't have to choose an option, it worked automatically and dried faster too. Maybe this machine is gentler on the clothes which is fine. LG Techincal problem support is pretty bad. Had a lot of trouble registering product online. So giving 3 stars due to that.

I see nothing spectacular or great about it. I thought my clothes were going to bling clean and i also thought i can wash a big load. It can't even handle one king size blanket. The dryer is not great it doesn’t even dry the clothes all the way. And if you add a second dry it shuts off after a few minutes without completing the dry. It is annoying. You have to manually set the time yourself for it to complete.

Large capacity but does not dry completely if filled to capacity. Steam and Sanitize features work great.

The dryer looks nice. It dries but takes two cycles. It's supposed to be smart but these are definitely not smart as in they don't save energy because it takes twice as long to dry your clothes.

I purchased this dryer because it was the only front-load, full-size dryer with a depth less than 34" that I could find at Best Buy. The wifi is finicky and the sensor dry doesn't work great with small loads. Larger loads seem to be better. Overall, it's a good unit, but has a couple issues.

It has never worked and there is a gas leak from the connection when it was installed. I had my neighbor turn off the gas valve.
