LG - 75" Class 7S Series QNED AI Mini LED 4K Smart webOS TV (2026) - Open Box - Fair

LG does not manufacture QLED panels, so we cannot advise you on whether "QNED is a clear step up in actual performance". The LG 75" Class 7S Series QNED AI Mini LED 4K Smart webOS TV (2026), Model # 75QNED7SBUA, is an entry-level model within LG's QNED lineup. While the "QNED" family sits above LG's basic UHD televisions, the 7S Series (QNED7SB) represents the absolute ground floor of its Quantum Dot Mini-LED technology. It is specifically engineered to offer a large-screen smart TV experience at a much lower price point, sacrificing several premium performance features to do so. Higher-end QNED models feature smooth 120Hz or 144Hz panels. The QNED7S is limited to a native 60Hz panel, meaning it is built for casual everyday TV streaming and cable viewing rather than high-performance, current-gen console gaming. Unlike top-tier Mini-LEDs that use precision local dimming zones to turn off chunks of the backlight for deep blacks, the QNED7S relies on standard direct-lit backlighting. In dark rooms, you will notice slightly elevated, grayish black levels. It utilizes the α7 AI Processor 4K Gen9. While very capable at upscaling standard video, it lacks the more powerful α8 or α11 processors found on upper-tier sets that handle complex motion smoothing and glare reduction...^Ivan.
