I bought this tv to perform in competitive gaming while having a relaxing time. Instantly a person can not only see how visually stunning it all is, but the response time and 120hz mode truly makes it an experience. There simply isn’t anything that be asked more of for current gen console gaming.

Couldn’t be happier with this television. It was indeed pricey even with the sale price but nothing like it. Pick your favorite movie and prepare to be amazed.

I purchased an LG C5 77" OLED from Best Buy in Open Box – Excellent condition expecting a TV that had been lightly used and carefully inspected. After bringing it home, I discovered that the TV already had 3,262 power-on hours, which is the equivalent of about 136 days of continuous operation (24/7). I contacted Best Buy because I didn't expect an "Excellent" open-box TV to have that level of prior use. Even more concerning, the panel has visible dark spots that can be seen during normal viewing. These are not just visible on test patterns—they are noticeable in real content. I spent nearly two hours on the phone with Best Buy customer support trying to resolve the issue. Instead of offering a solution, I was ultimately told to contact LG and use the manufacturer's warranty to address the panel defects. In other words, after selling the TV, Best Buy shifted the responsibility to the manufacturer. When I asked about the 3,262 hours of prior use, I was essentially told that it wasn't something they considered a problem for an Open Box purchase. As of today, I'm still working with LG to see whether the panel will be repaired or replaced, and I honestly don't know how this will end. The LG C5 itself is an excellent TV when it's working properly, but my experience buying it from Best Buy has been extremely disappointing. I expected much better quality control for an item advertised as Open Box – Excellent. I also recorded my conversation with customer support and will be sharing the full experience, along with updates on the warranty process, on my blog at newjobs4you.com/blogs. My advice: if you buy an Open Box OLED from Best Buy, check the power-on hours, inspect the panel carefully, and don't assume that "Excellent" means lightly used or free of display defects.

Great TV I always have been a fan of LG TV. The customizing of your screen quality preferences is a great addition. Recommend this tv!
