Questions & Answers
Do I have to use the supplied wall mount? I have a pre-existing VESA mount holding up the TV we wish to replace. I'd rather not have to potentially put more holes in my wall and studs to mount this.
Answered by LG Digital Customer CareHi, there! Thank you for sharing your question to us about the LG TV (OLED77G6WUA). No, this model does list a 300mm x 300mm VESA Wall Mount Standard, it is not compatible with traditional VESA mounts. The G6 series uses a proprietary mounting system, so the supplied mount is required for proper installation. A pre‑existing VESA mount would not align with the mounting points on the G6 and wouldn’t provide the correct support.
