I recently purchased the LG OLED TV, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The OLED technology employed by LG truly sets this television apart from the rest, delivering an unparalleled viewing experience. First and foremost, the picture quality is nothing short of breathtaking. The OLED display produces vibrant, lifelike colors with exceptional contrast, making every scene come to life. The deep blacks are truly mesmerizing, providing an incredible level of detail and enhancing the overall visual impact. Whether I’m watching movies, sports, or playing video games, the level of immersion is second to none. Furthermore, the LG OLED TV offers remarkable clarity and sharpness. The 4K resolution coupled with the OLED panel creates a razor-sharp image, ensuring that even the tiniest details are displayed with utmost precision. It’s like witnessing the content in its purest form, with no compromise on quality. The TV’s design is equally impressive. The ultra-slim profile and minimal bezels give it a sleek and modern look that seamlessly blends into any living space. It’s a testament to LG’s commitment to both style and functionality. In terms of features, the LG OLED TV leaves no stone unturned. The smart TV capabilities provide easy access to a wide range of streaming services and apps, ensuring endless entertainment options. The user-friendly interface and intuitive remote control make navigating through the interface a breeze. I must also mention the audio performance, which complements the stunning visuals perfectly. The built-in speakers deliver immersive and well-balanced sound, creating a captivating audio-visual experience. Overall, the LG OLED TV has set a new standard for home entertainment. Its remarkable picture quality, sleek design, and abundance of features make it an excellent investment for anyone seeking the ultimate viewing experience. I highly recommend the LG OLED TV to anyone who values uncompromising quality and wants to bring their entertainment to a whole new level.

Coming from a 65 inch Sony x900f to this amazing 83 inch LG G2 is crazy. The detail in the black, the color, the gaming. I am just blown away. My only issue is the remote. It is fine with the exception that it is not back-lit. For an expensive flag ship TV like this, I want a back-lit remote. So LG make it happen and I will pay extra for it.

The size and picture quality make this tv the best TV for the value. I have seen the 85” QN90B and its is cheaper and 3” bigger, but the picture quality is not a good as this one. The next step from this TV is a 97” G2 which is $25k so this one at $4,799 is a great deal. Compared to the Sony A90K its brighter and sleeker becuade of its gallery design and they are about the same price, although the Sony has the more accurate colors i still pick this one.

The G2 is regarded as the best TV of the year for sizes it offers. Picked up the 83in at BestBuy for my home theater setup after debating a while to go with OLED or a 100in projector. The TV is so sleek, it’s hard to believe it’s a TV and not just an ALR screen on the wall. One of my friends has a 77in G1, the G2 looks better in every way compared to it. Has better picture, brightness, OS and also looks better just turned off. The performance hasnt disappointed me so far, even if it is a little bit smaller compared to a projector screen and I don’t even have to care about making the doom pitch black. I can enjoy food and drinks while watching. My friends with projectors at their places want to watch movies at my place now. If such good TVs keep getting bigger and thinner, the clumsy projectors will become history.

First large TV. First OLED. I also have a 5 year old 65" M-Series VIZIO, 43" TCL 43S525, and a new 75" Sony X90K. I have the LG in a dedicated room where I can control the light. There is 1 window (4 feet wide x 5 feet tall) to the right and even during peak sunlight reflections aren't an issue. That said the picture is astounding. My wife, who normally says she can't tell the difference in picture quality said "Wow it looks so real." Motion - when streaming, there is noticeable stutter/judder in some slow pan and fast action scenes. I chose to set motion smoothing to low, so I guess I could set it higher but I don't like the "soap opera effect." So pick your poison. Basically, when watching 4K disc movies motion doesn't seem to be as much an issue, but streaming for me isn't perfect. In my opinion, Sony is better in this regard. Mounting/Installation - I did not use the included wall mount because I wanted more adjustment and easier access to the back of the tv. I bought the ECHOGEAR TV Wall Mount for Large TVs Up to 90" from Amazon and it is perfect. Also, I had Best Buy install the TV. Thank goodness I did because the TV is huge/heavy, and I really didn't want to mess it up. They did an amazing job, had the TV installed, and up and running in 40 minutes. For reference I have it mounted to a wall that is 11 feet wide x 8 feet tall. I sit about 8 feet away which provides very good immersion.

Easily the best picture on the market. The perfect blacks add a perfect contrast that looks great no matter what you’re watching. We purchased the Gallery edition which comes with a wall mount. The wall mount left a lot to be desired for the 83”. We ended up buying a different wall mount. The sound was fine but we opted for a Sonos sound bar after a week.

Tried Samsung 85” QN800 series 8K TV but this LG G2 is far superior in picture quality. Price is higher but definitely a better tv. Get a sound bar for better sound, we went with Sonos Arc.
