LG - Sound Suite H7 5.1.3 Channel Soundbar with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect - Black

The LG Sound Suite H7 Soundbar requires a wired HDMI (ARC/eARC) connection to the TV when used in a Dolby Atmos FlexConnect setup, meaning the H7 itself connects to the TV via cable while acting as the wireless hub for surrounding satellite speakers. It must be plugged into the G4-series LG OLED TV using an HDMI eARC cable to process primary audio and sync properly. While the soundbar itself needs an HDMI wire to the TV, additional add-on wireless speakers like the M5 or M7 connect wirelessly to the H7 soundbar hub rather than directly to the television. To get the full high-performance audio output and Dolby Atmos FlexConnect experience from your LG OLED G4 series TV, you cannot connect the LG Sound Suite H7 Soundbar completely wirelessly. You must use a wired HDMI eARC connection. To transmit uncompressed Dolby Atmos or use Dolby Atmos FlexConnect (DAFC) with the H7 acting as the main ecosystem leader, an HDMI eARC cable must run from the TV to the soundbar. Optional add-on components like the Sound Suite W7 Subwoofer or M5/M7 satellite speakers will connect to the H7 completely wirelessly. You can use the LG ThinQ App to wirelessly add any additional surround speakers to the H7 group. Your LG Magic Remote will automatically control the soundbar's volume and power seamlessly. The TV's speakers can work simultaneously with the soundbar using a built-in feature called WOW Orchestra. Because your TV and the LG Sound Suite H7 Soundbar both feature advanced processing, they can synchronize their audio channels to build a much taller, wider soundstage than the soundbar can manage on its own. If you are using the H7 purely as a standalone soundbar (or just with the W7 Subwoofer), you can freely enable WOW Orchestra in your TV’s audio settings to combine the TV speakers and the soundbar. If you pair the H7 with M5 or M7 wireless satellite speakers to use Dolby Atmos FlexConnect (DAFC), the TV will automatically disable WOW Orchestra. The FlexConnect system relies on real-time spatial calibration that maps audio specifically to the H7 and its satellites, which overrides the TV-speaker combination...^Ivan.

Hello, Nick! Thank you for sharing your question to us about the LG Soundbar (H7). Yes, the LG Magic Remote included with your LG G4 TV will work seamlessly with the soundbar. You’ll be able to control everyday functions like power and volume directly from the TV remote. The soundbar’s included remote is only needed for the initial setup or when adjusting deep‑level audio settings such as equalizer or specific surround modes. This integration makes daily use simple and convenient, while still giving you access to advanced adjustments when needed. Hello there, Girly! Thanks for reaching out about pairing the LG Soundbar (H7) with your G‑Series OLED. The LG H7 sound bar does not connect wirelessly to the G‑Series flush‑mount OLED TVs for full audio output. To enjoy proper sound bar performance, you’ll need to use a wired connection, typically HDMI (eARC), which provides the best audio quality and sync with your TV. Wireless audio features on G‑Series TVs—such as Bluetooth—are generally intended for headphones or select speakers, not for full sound bar integration.
