This has shown as Sold Out since the first day of listing. LG answered a previous question about availability saying to contact BB as to why. I chatted online with BB rep who said it’s likely unavailable due to supplier?? So who’s holding it up BB or LG?

This model is highly anticipated as the world’s first 39-inch 5K2K curved OLED gaming monitor, and the new tandem panel technology is in high demand, leading to limited supply. Answered by LG Digital Customer CareMonitors in general do not support HDMI eARC ports, and the LG UltraGear™ evo GX9 39" 5K2K OLED 165Hz 0.03ms G-SYNC FreeSync™ Premium Pro Gaming Monitor with DisplayHDR™ TRUE 500 - Black, Model # 39GX950B-B, does not support HDMI eARC. HDMI eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) is designed to transmit high-bandwidth, lossless audio from a display to an external sound system using a single cable. Because computer monitors prioritize high-speed visual rendering, short input lag, and direct PC-to-display connectivity, they omit eARC for several key reasons: Monitors receive audio natively alongside video through the primary display cable (DisplayPort or HDMI) and pass it through to connected headsets or desktop speakers, bypassing the need for a return channel. The primary purpose of eARC on televisions is to route audio from smart TV apps and cable boxes back to soundbars. Monitors rarely feature built-in streaming apps or TV tuners. Adding eARC requires licensing fees and additional hardware/chipsets, which would unnecessarily drive up the cost of a device primarily intended for PC use.
