Q: how does a range extender work?

A: All you need to do is plug it in to an outlet half way between the router and devices you want to boost activate it and search for the either 2.4ext or 5.0ext and put your password in and your done

Q: My Verizon router wifi signal upstairs gets very weak on my computer (Windows 7) in the basement. Can I use this range extender, or any other similar product to boost the wifi signal strength in the basement? Thanks in advance for any help. GCH

A: You can; I would station it(the extender) mid router and basement (area) because if it can't get the routers signal the extender is useless and will lose connection intermittently. Hope this helps.

Q: We have a 900 sq foot house, and the internet reaches about 40 ft into our yard. Will this help get internet into a shed 75 feet from our router. We can get some internet in the yard but it’s weak.

A: I have a small house as well and a workshop that’s about 100 yards from my house. We bought the this extender and we now have internet to our shop.

Q: Hi, I have been trying to connect the Boost range extender to my Spectrum router, I tried both the WPS and the manual setup and keep getting the same message, "no internet accses/try a different network".

A: We had the same message. We looked up the model # on YouTube and a 9 minute video popped up. If you follow it word for word you will get it working.

Q: Will the linksys ac750 boost wireless range extender boost the WI Fi signal to watch Netflix movies on my smart tv?

A: Yes. Netflix would not work on our 3rd floor until I got this extender. After that, it connected right away.

Q: Will this extender work with the xfinity router? It is a dual band 802.11ac Thanks

A: Yes, it will extend a Comcast Router, and Yes, it has 2.4 GHz and 5GHz bands.

Q: Would this extender work good enough to reach out to our building about 30-40 ft from the house?

A: Probably not or at least not to well. I loose signal about 12 to 15' out on my deck

Q: Would this booster work?

A: Yes, I use mine at hotels where I don't have access to the router either. You don'the need physical access, just connect to the Extender via wireless network (enter code for Extender to verify it's yours), then just connect to the router using your internet browser and it walks you right through the setup. Couldn't be easier. Hope this helps.
