Excellent movie with great cast and story.Watch it

I never thought a new version of Little Women could match the one I love with Susan Sarandon as Marmee. But this one matches it and may even be my favorite. Love the character development, the stories of all four girls as women- seeing their choices, their struggles, yet how they stay connected to one another. The music scenes are fabulous!

It was a really good movie and I loved every second of it!

Bought as a gift. Ordering it online was easy and it was delivered within the estimated time frame.

This is not the normal type of genre movie that I watch but I saw this movie in theater and I really enjoyed it and it made my top 10 2019 movie so when I saw it on sale for $9.99 during black Friday and I also had a $5 reward to use it was a no brainer to add this movie to my collection. The cast is this movie is top notch and I found it to be a beautiful story. Some people I went with said it was hard to follow the timeline but only once did I get a bit confused when they were jumping around. I have never seen the previous versions of Little Women so I can't compare it to those but I loved this version. As far as the Blu Ray Video & Audio goes which you probably really want to know about in this review is its top notch but shouldn't you expect that from a new release? That said some new releases don't deliver top notch video & audio. This one does. I think you will be very pleased with that aspect if you purchase this. I definitely recommend this movie.

The movie does not disprove that the book is ALWAYS better than the motion picture. However, all in all it was a nice movie. I would recommend it to anyone to watch it for the great acting by all cast members. I enjoyed watching it.

A glorious and fun story of a family of five young girls becoming young ladies in 1860’s New England during the American Civil War. This film easily reaches out and touches its’ audience in many pleasant ways regarding the daughters domestic struggles and their coming of age. All the daughters and their Mother were fabulous and delightful personalities which will always be remembered and certainly not be forgotten. Saoirse [Pronounced So-Sha] remains at-the-top-of-her acting game and the entire acting troop was on-point – thus the films strong audience approval. This is the kind of movie that will draw you back for more than one more view!

I really enjoyed this latest adaptation of Little Women. The performances were great all around. They were able to find new ways of telling the story while staying true to the novel. The 1080p video looked good to my eyes. I don't think there is a 4K version available, yet. While this is not a movie with bombastic sound effects, the DTS-MA audio provided a nice soundscape and good surround usage when called for. Dialogue was always clear and natural. The extras are kind of the usual EPK type short documentaries but not too bad. There are 6 of them that total ~50 minutes. I wish there were an audio commentary with the Director or the cast but this is still a solid release.

There has been 3 versions of this film made, and this is the one to watch! Greta Gerwig has taken the classic book and turned it into the best film version of it yet! I guess it just took a woman's vision. The film is about the 4 young March sisters who are all out to live life on their own terms. The story centers around Jo March played by Saoirse Ronan who turns in an outstanding performance. Jo wants to be a writer. Her other sisters are played wonderfully by Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, and Eliza Scanlen. Supporting players are Laura dean, Meryl Streep, and Timothee Chalamet. This is a worthwhile film to see, and I strongly recommend it!

It’s my favorite movie. I like this new version better then the older one that is with Winona Ryder. I enjoyed seeing this movie in the movie theater

It kind of feels like there's more excitement around Greta Gerwig's take on Little Women for all the factors involved than there is necessarily for the final product itself. Gerwig's follow-up to Lady Bird was going to be anticipated regardless, but given she decided to go with an adaptation of the oft adapted Louisa May Alcott classic only added something of an IP stamp to it; a built-in audience of sorts that became more enhanced given the Christmas day release...Sony knows what it's doing. Add to all of this the fact the film reunites the writer/director with Lady Bird stars Saorsie Ronan and Timothée Chalamet while bringing in the likes of Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Laura Dern, Meryl Streep, Chris Cooper and Bob Odenkirk to boot and you may as well permanently pencil in a screening of Little Women on your Christmas itinerary from here to forever.

When I first heard that another version of Little Women was being released, I thought to myself "enough is enough" and had not planned on seeing it. Then I realized that Greta Gerwig was behind it. I saw it at the theater and loved Greta's take. I think this is the best version ever done. At first the alternation between the woman in adulthood and then back to their youth was strange, but it lent a depth to the story. This classic novel has enduring worth, and so does this fine screen adaptation.

I love this movie. It was about a simpler time, but this version illustrated more clearly what women were up against if they wanted to do something other than get married and have kids, the only options most women had. The main female character had talents, knowledge and opinions that weren't popular to share during that time period....but she did. Her success and strong stance in a man's world at that time made this movie very engaging and uplifting.

Greta Gerwig has proved she is a directing force in this remake of the classic story. It is visually stunning and beautifully paced. The entire cast is exceptional. Saoirse Ronan is a charismatic actress who we fell in love with in "Brooklyn". This performance confirms her ability to portray the essence of a character. It is a very satisfying way to spend a couple of hours and leaves you wanting more.

For those who do not know; this is another remake! This verison is one of those that goes back-and-forth from present to past. The storylines are mostly the same, there were a few things I disliked such as the role of Amy March in this movie the actress looks older than all of the sisters and she is the youngest. In the 1994 version the actress is a child of 10 or 11 and this girl looks 23 or older and as 7 years pass she should have changed. they should have given Meryl Streep more scenes because she is amazing! I think it would have been a better movie if Emma Watson had the main role of Jo March.

I bought this Blu Ray on the Day of its release and with the world situation the coronavirus outbreak i had to use the curb site service for the first time. They at a sign with a telephone number i called they explained how curb side works,I ordered it online,another employee walked it out to cars and it was fast ,They have a great system at the Augusta Best Buy location.

I thought oh no not another adaption of Little Women but this stands on it's on as a wonderful version of the story. Incredibly filmed and beautifully acted. The actual house of Louisa May Alcott the author of the book is even included in the film. Great story, amazing cinematography, and superbly acted, you can't miss with this movie.

If you ever loved a Jane Austen film, you will LOVE “Little Women.” This movie is filled with so much love, laughter, drama and sadness. If you’re unfamiliar with the book or other renditions, then you will fall in love with all of the characters, and root for them throughout their struggles and triumphs. This movie is a must see.

Excellent movie. There are things I don't like about it but I still give it 5 stars. My wife LOVES it. I would say the same except I haven't read the book(s) and the timeline jumping around was confusing to me the first time I saw it. The story is great and considering it was originally written in the 1800's it has a very modern theme.
