About This Item
Lloyd Price was a multifaceted musician, band leader, songwriter, and singer. Whilst in the army, Price found his calling fronting a large dance band playing swing music to the troops. This sparked the idea to combine the full sound of an orchestra with the rhythmic tempos of rhythm and blues. He became Coloquially known as InchMr PersonalityInch after his Million-selling hit InchMy PersonalityInch and released InchThis Is My BandInch as a compilation album 1981. Wanting to take a step back to shine a light on the talent that was behind him, you won't find him singing (as he usually did) on many of the songs on this album. Most of these tracks are instrumentals in order to showcase the raw playing talent of the band that he was so famously proud of. Album Tracks 1. Trouble, Pt. 1 2. Trouble, Pt. 2 3. Number Four 4.
