I did not think twice before ordering this keypad when I purchased my IPad. I have used several Logitech products and I was sure this would be perfect. It did not disappoint me. The keyboard/folio is sturdy and has a good feel to it. What I like the most is the sturdy protection it provides around the edges of the IPad. The only downside was the keyboard backlight. It is very dim and doesn’t light up the keyboard as it should.

It’s fantastic when connected to the tablet, but,the only thing keeping it from 5 stars, and it’s a BIG only thing, had I known it HAS to be physically attached, I might have gone a different route. I have a sort of mobile office setup with the vehicle adjustable arm tray and the tablet holder is detached so I can maneuver both to whatever angle I need. This one doesn’t work for what I need

Love this case for an easy way to turn your iPad into a laptop. This was the main reason I wanted another iPad. The case is very secure and love that it has a removable keyboard! Also the keyboard is lit!! Only thing is the case is kinda bulky and if you want to keep your screen safe you have to put the keyboard back on each time.

Wonderful product, light, comfortable, easy to use and very cute. However, the trackpad gets stuck and stops working. I have tried to talk to the helpline but it has been impossible.

Great accessory for iPad. Would’ve preferred the magnet to hold when the keyboard is folded to the back. The way it is now, it you want to use as a tablet the keyboard will need to be detached.

I've used iPads with various keyboards for years. The keyboard is one of the nicest feeling keyboard I've used, and it's so responsive. So many Bluetooth keyboards have an slight lag, and are noticeably inaccurate when you attempt to type fast. Not this one, the "wired" connection solves all that, in the only way that the problem can really be fixed. The kickstand on the back is highly adjustable and it's taller than many other kickstands, making it more stable. The tablet fits tightly in the rubber surround that makes up the cover's back, there a slight hollow all the way around the edge to form a real bumper (to cushion in case of a fall). The back lighted keyboard offers 6 levels of backlighting controllable from the keyboard, which can also adjust the screen brightness (12 levels). The keyboard can also control volume up/down/mute. The trackpad seem very accurate, rather than a hard to see mouse pointer on the screen, you get a translucent dot that changes color on/over light and dark areas on the screen. The trackpad is far enough from the keyboard one does not interfere with the other, there are no marking on the trackpad, but the lower section behaves like most trackpad buttons. The island key are well spaced, probably 90+% a normal keyboard, the keyboard is about 1.5" narrower than a 13" MacBook Air, with smaller Return, Shift and Delete keys (the wide ones on the MacBook). The height of the 6 rows of keys is nearly identical. And the key travel is very similar to the latest "scissor" MacBook keyboard. The keys are a harder plastic the the slightly rubberised MacBook, but in some ways that makes it easier to navigate, I guess it depends on how you type. The keyboard requires no batteries, it pulls power from the iPad. I suspect the degree of backlighting greatly affects the power usage (it can easily be turned off, while I didn't find a means of disabling the trackpad). I used the kickstand at many different angles and it held it position well in all cases. When the keyboard is closed on the screen the iPad goes to sleep. The keyboard fits inside the lip of the case, so it should not scratch the screen. the whole package is very well thought out It is my understanding that you need iOS 13.4 for the cursor control function that this Combo Touch Keyboard utilizes. Not the downside of the protection, a iPad 7 weights in at 1.07 lbs, the Combo Touch weighs in at 1.43 lbs the two totalling 2.5 lbs (compared to the current MacBook Air at 2.8 lbs). And the thickness if the Combo Touch is thicker then the MacBook Air (but the iPad+Combo Touch price combined is still about 1/2 that of the MacBook Air). So you definitely add some bulk, but you get the functionality of a PC though the addition of the trackpad/keyboard. And I don't doubt an iPad inside the Combo's Touch case would survive a fall much better than a MacBook air would from any height. Now it's quite easy to detach the keyboard and use the protected iPad on it's own. I personally have protected most of the tablets I've owned with some sort of case. I've always feared the slippery, non-edged tablet slipping from you grasp. So I've accepted some added weight by default. Well the Combo Touch takes that protection up a level and adds a keyboard/trackpad, which effectively turns the iPad into a 2-1 PC. I suppose you could use the keyboard without the back, but then you'd loose the kickstand support, so you'd have to find something to prop it up; not sure I'm a fan of that. The top of the case has a loop to hold a apple pencil or a Logitech Crayon (which really does not fit that well, see pics). And the side of the case is open so the apple pencil 2 can still attach magnetically (most other cases forget this). I really like the keyboard, trackpad combination, the feel is excellent; but you have to decide if you can live with the weight gain. Since I would have bought some sort of case anyhow, I think it's a big step forward for the iPad with the new cursor control functionality. So there are pro's and cons, for me the Pros win!, as I spend a lot of time typing on my iPad. BTW this only work with the iPad 7G, the new bigger iPad version, I love slightly bigger screen and improved resolution it brings.

So overall I am really happy with the case. It comes I n2 parts, the main case that the iPad snaps into, and the detachable keyboard piece. I really like that the keyboard charges via the iPad directly. Using the connector where the Pencil would go, it magnetically attaches and gets its charge from there. The keys are great to type with. I REALLY like that the keys also are backlit. What a great addition. I also like the touchpad. As your mouse gets close to an icon it snaps to the icon and then the entire icon is enabled (highlighted). So when you click the touchpad, the icon for the app you want will be selected, no worrying that the mouse moved. The case snaps on the iPad very easily. And the back has the “stand” that you can adjust to a nearly flat position or keep it nearly upright. I wasn’t sure how I felt about that at first, I thought I would break the stand the first time I pressed it lower, but I found out quickly it is meant to do this and it very sturdy. You can really get the angle you want to view the tablet. The case does have some eight to it. You definitely feel like the iPad is protected. My one concern, and why I did not give it 5 stars, is the keyboard attachment. I do not always want the keyboard and I would like to flip it behind the iPad or our of the way. That is to an option. If you do or want to use the keyboard you have to remove it (it comes off super easy).... but then you have a keyboard laying around beside you or on the table and you have to remember to reattach it when you close the iPad or turn it off. As the keyboard is the screen protector for the device when not in use. I find having the keyboard detach is not ideal.... and then I have to figure out something to do with it.

I've just recently bought the first ipad I've ever owned as I try to delve deeper into the Apple ecosystem. Obviously with a new device, comes the everburning urge to buy every accessory available. Needless to say, I started buying up cases, keyboards and am about to buy the Apple pen... Regardless, I've been through a number of cheaper keyboards from Amazon, as well as maybe even a smart keyboard from Apple themselves... And I've found that this is the best one I've used so far. Trackpad is not cheaply made as is the trackpad in literally every other keyboard ive used with this ipad and the keyboard is backlit. Additionally, this keyboard doubles as a protective case. So all in all, hands down best keyboard I've used for my ipad and the dual purpose case is just a plus. Oh ya, did i mention it also works as a stand for viewing? And a really good one at that. If your're reading this, you've probably used smart phone or tablet "Stands" that collapse if you sneeze or falls over if someone bumps the table. NOT THIS ONE! I was genuinely impressed by how rigid the stand functioned with this keyboard/case.

I am a fan of this keyboard folio. I did my research on this one and originally purchased the folio without the trackpad and returned it and bought the trackpad version from Logi because I didn’t want to spend money on a Magic Trackpad from Apple. This is a nice slim keyboard folio and fits snugly around the iPad 8th gen and look quite good. The keys are surprisingly colicky with decent travel for a keyboard this small. It has a function row which is awesome and the trackpad has gestures which is really really nice. Over just a great buy and I’d recommend to everyone who has an iPad 7th or 8th gen and wants a keyboard folio. Only thing is it has a lip around the outside of the keyboard itself. It doesn’t bother me but it might bug someone a bit more nit picky than myself. Good price for an included trackpad and connects via pins. BUY IT!

This is a well built folio that protects and allows you to use your iPad with a keyboard. It props up well an has a handy belt for your stylus. The keyboard is very removable, perhaps too easily, but it allows you to enjoy your iPad and it be protected without the weight of the keyboard.

The only thing that kept me from rating this a 5 star item was the price, lol. Personally i think $99 would be a bit more fair. However, after thinking about it several times i went ahead and bought it. Honestly, I’m glad that I did... it had all the features that I had wanted (detachable tablet, backlit keyboard, draws power from the tablet itself so having to charge the keyboard is not needed) As an added bonus,it seems to keep my hotspot connection from automatically disconnecting after a few minutes of idle time. No idea why...but I now have one less aggravation. As for the quality of the product, it seems to be first rate. Nice and solid feel, nice kickstand behind the tablet also. This makes your IPad very much like a small laptop with trackpad and all...which works very well also. Very simple setup, snapped the IPad into the back cover, set it on the keyboard, which secures it with strong magnets...turned it on, which then prompted me to download a very small program and I was all set to go. It is a bit heavier when all put together, but not unbearably so. So, as long as you can get by the price... I would highly recommend it. PS using it on your lap has been no problem for me.

I really liked this product. It was very easy to get started as you attached the keyboard and it asks you to install the app from Logitech. I had no issues with typing at all. The kickstand was great as well. Overall, it's a good product, especially if you don't have another laptop or device that you take with you. I think as a student, this is a great choice. However, I did return it because I think it's a bit too bulky. I got this product to help me avoid taking my laptop everywhere with me because it is a bit heavy. However, with the case on the iPad, it felt almost the same weight as my laptop. Also, the backlit keys were not as bright as I hoped it to be, but again, it wasn't a deal-breaker at all. It also took a bit of real-estate on the table and makes it harder to type comfortably on your lap or on smaller surfaces. But those are just nit-picky cons. I a huge fan of Logitech and their products, This one is great, but if you want a smaller footprint or slimmer set up, I suggest the Logitech Keys-to-go.

Overall-Good buy. The iPad is easy to insert, but is held firmly. However, mating your iPad with this folio does not make your iPad into a laptop. Sometimes you can direct your curser on something, click once and it will open. Different sites need two clicks, and sometimes you have to touch the screen. The keyboard comes off if you pick the whole thing up and are not careful. At times the keyboard looses its power and you have to remove (or at least wiggle) the keyboard to make it work again. That said it is a good addition to your iPad, it is so much easier to use for typing Than you screen keyboar and you can scroll through all of your app screens by two finger swiping.

I personally really like the keyboard and trackpad on this thing. 5 stars for that. With iOS 13.5, the original bugginess of the trackpad has been eliminated. The kickstand is sturdy and offers many viewing angles. The only drawback to this case is the weight, which is why it is not 5 stars. Unfortunately, it is not easy to get the ipad out of the case. If you are OK with that then this is definitely the best keyboard/trackpad for the iPad 10.2.

Key board attaches itself easily. functions quite well. Touch-pad is as good as any on my laptops - quick and accurate. Only drawback is the weight - a bit heavy but it does provide formidable protection.
