After 1.5 years of daily use, the left click now does not register half the time. Otherwise this mouse is amazing and one of my favorites of all time. Great form factor, portability, battery life, unlockable scroll wheel, and multi-device profile

This version works well, but not sure if it's worth the price because I have had the first 2 versions of this and they were better constructed. They had a case, and a place to store the dongle inside. This does work well with Bluetooth in case you lose the dongle. Overall if you catch it on sale it is worth it, but full price I would not buy

Was needing a small rechargeable wireless mouse for a laptop and this caught my interest. I have small hands and even most average-sized ones feel a bit big, but the MX Anywhere 3S fits my palm perfectly. It's got a good weight to it as well, and overall has a premium feel. Wish I could say the same about the app.. I'm not new to Logitech products, and assumed the MX Anywhere 3S would use an app similar to Logitech G Hub. I expected Logi Options+ would give more support, but it hinders usage. For some reason it keeps either disconnecting or sets the mouse as "inactive", which made it annoying to constantly check if it was connected to Bluetooth or not. The only way I can use the mouse without disruptions is WITHOUT Logi Options+. I uninstalled it completely and haven't had issues with the mouse since. I don't have other Bluetooth devices connected to the laptop, but maybe Logitech needs to improve the Bluetooth connectivity of the device and/or properly update Logi Options+ asap. But I don't need fancy customization options anyway, so I can use the mouse without the (mediocre) app as of now. But for $80, issues like this shouldn't exist for a product.

This mouse was unacceptably laggy with my Lenovo Yoga ThinkPad -- it kept disconnecting and reconnecting to Bluetooth randomly. Logitech support worked with me on the phone and the mouse worked slightly better after deleting the LogiOptions+ software, but still not well enough to reliably click on a downward pointing arrow onscreen (for instance). Support blamed the laptop's Bluetooth and said the mouse would work if I bought the Logi Bolt USB receiver. Now that I have done that (and after digging through their web site to find out how to get the mouse to connect to the Logi Bolt: they don't make it easy) the MX Anywhere 3s is working well and I begin to comprehend the generally very positive reviews. I got it because I thought it could be useful to have a mouse that connects to my Lenovo tablet when I travel (and it did connect to the tablet flawlessly out of the box). But when email is almost the only app on a tablet for which a mouse is useful, and the price has now inflated to about $100, it feels extravagant.

I feel like i have average hands and this item was just much too small for me, even for a claw grip. I was excited to get this paired up with my Mac to see how it performed as any other mouse outside of the terrible Apple Mouse just does not scroll well. I have to report that even with smooth scrolling on, this mouse was just notgood. I downloaded Mos for mac and it was smooth, but then the $80 price tag seemed too much considering that it made every other mouse that much better!

I wanted a small mouse; this is OK for a child but wish it was a little bigger. It doesn't work many times; we have to click several times sometimes to get it to work. There were NO instructions. Had to ask ChatGPT how to set it up. Without the website which ChatGPT gave me, I never would have been able to set it up. Still can't register it--no place to click on the Logitech website.

I bought this and the razer orochi v2. The orochi turned out to be better, with a very long battery life. If using a AA lithium ion battery.

We're sorry to hear that the Razer Orochi V2 ultimately suited your needs better, particularly regarding battery life, compared to your Logitech MX Anywhere 3S. We appreciate your honest feedback.

I have had several of the MX mouse versions over the years. My favorite to date is still the older style MX anywhere with replaceable batteries and USB receiver. In my opinion, Logitech has taken a great mouse and reduced it to an expensive 'average' mouse. Gone in the MX 3s is the smooth scrolling wheel (has soft click feel to it now, which i'm not a fan of) Also, It uses blue tooth for connectivity, a usb dongle is available as an optional purchase. Also, I personally don't find any advantage to being rechargeable Vs replacing batteries, now I need to have a charging block and the correct cable in the case. Too many negatives in the 3s. Logitech, when you have a very good product, leave it as is please!!

We appreciate your long-time loyalty to the MX Anywhere series and your candid feedback on the MX Anywhere 3S. We understand the changes to the scroll wheel and connectivity haven't met your expectations, and we value your input as we continue to refine our products. This helps us improve our designs for future users.

I gave this a 3 star because it does work but has problems. It feels good in the hand and connected wonderfully. Then about two days later it was not working. Would not connection or show up to connect. Switched channels and the computer found it and back up and running. then a few days later it was gone again. We again switched channels and there it was. Got up the next day and it was gone again. I learned how to reset the channels but it is not worth it to have to reset the channels everyday just to use your mouse. The support site is centered more around Apple than Windows.

That's unfortunate! Refer the mentioned steps and check if that helps to resolve the issue: 1. Verify the product or receiver is connected directly to the computer and not to a hub, extender, switch or something similar. 2. Move the device closer to the USB receiver. If your receiver is in the back of your computer, it may help to relocate the receiver to a front port. In some cases the receiver signal gets blocked by the computer case, causing a delay. 3. Keep other electrical wireless devices away from the USB receiver to avoid interference. 4. Try on a different computer. Incase if the issue still persists, reach out to Logitech Support Team.

No information given about "programmable buttons." Don't know what to program with them.
Posted
The MX Anywhere 3S has 6 programmable buttons that can be customized to perform a wide variety of tasks using the Logi Options+ software. The customization options are extensive and can even be configured to be application-specific, changing based on the program you are using.

Great mouse, poor quality. My fiancé and I have combined for four failed left click switches (two each) in the past two years. Always managed to fail right after the one year warranty ends. Be prepared to repair or buy a new one Still buying a 5th...wish there was a better quality version of this

loved the original anywhere mx mouse. this version lacks a receiver and constantly disconnects from bluetooth. While it works it is smooth and responsive. then it loses connection locks the built in trackpad and forces a computer restart to reconnect or restore function. disappointed.

It’s good and I love it until the left button does not hold up any more. $80 mouse for less than 3 years is quite expensive!
