They got a lot right here, but so many things just aren't there to justify the price. The Good: -Very easy to move and travel with. -Comes with a nice case, -GREAT lighting and RGB -Fun design and pink color. -Overall pretty satisfying to type on. The Bad: - Not hot-swap able - WAY overpriced - The switches are a bit crunchy and need to be lubed but you can't pull them out. - No dedicated arrow keys. Overall I only recommend this if you're super rich and have cash to burn on a less than competitive keyboard. The software is okay, but not great.

The "No-Excuses" Competitive Keyboard. I finally made the jump to a 60% board, and the Pro X 60 is exactly what I was looking for to clean up my desk. If you’re coming from a full-sized keyboard, the extra space for your mouse is a massive relief—no more slamming your mouse into the side of your keyboard during a flick.

This is a great mouse for the price for the battery life alone. I have gone for many hours of us before remembering to plug it in and it had never died on me. The only thing keeping it from a 5-star is the lack of traditional arrow keys.

Love this keyboard! Fits on my desk perfectly and comes with a cool hardshell case. Color is a little darker in person than in the images.

The Logitech Pro X 60 may be small, but it is loaded with many features. The Pro X 60 has a sleek look and a myriad of customizable features. Now whether this keyboard is for you will be dependent on a couple of items. I will cover some key pros and cons in my review of the Logitech Pro X 60. ========== IN THE BOX: In the box, you get the Logitech Pro X 60, hard travel case, USB-A to USB-C cable, USB adapter, ESC key, and some documentation. I want to take the time to point out that the hard case is a neat addition with this keyboard. There are storage slots on the bottom for the USB cable, receiver, and USB adapter. From what I am aware, I haven’t seen anyone sell a keyboard with a travel case included. Kudos to Logitech for the wonderful addition! ========== BUILD QUALITY/COMFORT: The keyboard is not too heavy and seems to be built well. On the right short side of the keyboard, there is a physical game mode switch, and on the left short side, there is a tiny rubber volume knob. On the back top side, there are physical buttons to switch between receiver mode and Bluetooth. All these physical buttons feel good and don’t seem to be cheap. The dual-shot PBT keycaps feel pleasant, look great, and should last significantly longer than ABS keycaps. I tested this keyboard while gaming, and while working. I will confidently say that this keyboard is incredibly ergonomic, and comfortable. I did not feel any discomfort at all. The 60% size allows for less travel between keys, so the hands are not moving around too much, which adds to the comfort. ========== FEATURES/ G HUB APP: An underrated feature of this keyboard is the multiple connection options one can choose from. Wired, wireless receiver, or Bluetooth. If you are worried about battery life, there is no need for concern as this keyboard has a significantly large battery life. Since I have taken it out of the box, battery life has only dropped to about 50%! The Pro X 60 contains plenty of customizable features. All these customizable features can be done through the Logitech GHUB application. A big selling point is the customizable keys and custom macros. The keys that you would normally have on a normal-sized keyboard like the delete, arrow keys, and function keys can be used by selecting the FN key and then the alternate key on the keyboard. The alternate keys are printed on the keycaps so there is no need for memorization. RGB can also be customized through the G Hub app. ========== GAMING/OFFICE PERFORMANCE: If you have never used a keyboard this size, it may take some time to get used to. The hardest part is getting accustomed to using the alternate keys that are usually present on larger keyboards (e.g. arrow keys). If you created any custom macros or key assignments, those may take some time to remember as well. When gaming, the small size of the keyboard is seriously helpful. For example, in Rise of the Tomb Raider, the ability to quickly switch weapons with a quick short keystroke has been helpful in dire situations where multiple different weapons are needed. Having the ability to create custom presets for different games is helpful too if you play a variety of games. I have created various custom presets for FPS games, racing games, and adventure games. As an office keyboard, the Pro X 60 is on the louder end, so be wary if you plan to take the keyboard inside an office. But at the same time, you do save desk space. Macros have been helpful too on the office side. For example, if you do some scripting or coding, creating a function can be as easy as creating a keystroke to paste that desired function. Or if you want to control your media, system actions for controlling media can be mapped to multiple keys. This is extremely helpful since most normal-sized modern keyboards have dedicated media keys. ========== CONCLUSION/TLDR: Overall, this is a great 60% gaming keyboard. The myriad of customizable options and the space-saving design allow you to take complete control of the keyboard at home, on the road, or in the office. On the other hand, the keyboard is on the louder side, and if this is the first 60% form factor keyboard that you are considering, it may take some time to get accustomed to something like this. But if you don’t mind these minor nuances, and are confident this is for you, I certainly recommend you give Logitech Pro X 60 a shot!

I have to admit that I feel quite foolish. I ordered the Pro X 60 keyboard primarily because it was advertised as being 60% of the size of the average full sized keyboard. For some reason I thought this meant that the keys would actually be slightly smaller - which would have been perfect for my 9 year old son who is a gamer and has also reached the age where he is taking typing classes in school. I figured it would be a better fit for his smaller hands as he learns to keep his fingers on the home row - and would also be portable for gaming on the go. Well, it turns out that I'm an idiot. ...The physical footprint (or real estate) of the keyboard is 40% smaller because the keyboard does not have dedicated Function buttons (F1 through F12 & delete), arrow keys, or 10-key pad. Otherwise it is identical in layout and size to the typical mechanical keyboard. See the attached pictures for a size reference. ...Luckily the Pro X 60 still completely justifies its price by being an excellent mechanical keyboard. Key actuation is stellar as is ease of use. I greatly appreciate that the keyboard comes with a quality travel case that truly protects the keys during travel. I can toss it into my work bag, or into luggage without any worry. I also appreciate that the keyboard is able to use all available connection methods. It can connect manually with the included cable (for the absolute fastest response time), via Bluetooth, or wirelessly with the USB type A dongle. It is truly the go anywhere do anything keyboard for all uses. I like that the RGB automatically syncs with all other Logitech devices (as seen in my pictures), but I absolutely love the volume knob on the left side. It so so seamless and helpful - MUCH better than dedicated volume buttons. While they keyboard has un deniable build quality, my son absolutely hated that there are not dedicated direction buttons (up, down, left, right), or a dedicated print screen button. To use these features you have to hold the Function button. For adults with regular sized hands, it's fairly simple to hold the FN button down with your pinky while pressing K,M. for the Up, Down, Left, Right with the rest of your fingers. But my son found it so cumbersome that he now refuses to use the keyboard...which is probably just as well because I want to keep the keyboard in my workbag to use on the daily when I'm remote. My only other complaint is that the "Game Mode" switch on the right side doesn't seem to have default settings, or at least not in an obvious capacity. I'll be using the keyboard with a variety of different computers and I don't want to install Logitech gsync software on all of them. I was hoping that switching into game mode would have an obvious change. For example, have the RGB adjust to clearly indicate that certain buttons have switched function. Sadly for the game mode to be helpful, you will have to use the Logitech software to customize the settings on a single computer. Customization can be shared and downloaded, but I would prefer some default hardware setting changes. Over all, the keyboard is awesome because it has a high build quality, multiple connection options, full customization, excellent RGB options, and can be used in any capacity that could be expected or needed for a portable keyboard. Logitech did a great job with the PRO X 60.

I love dual purpose tech and was super excited to try out the Logitech PRO X 60 mechanical gaming keyboard as my new portable gaming and work keyboard. Based on a week of use, I'm really happy with the sturdiness of the build and the accuracy and speed of the key response.  In the box is the keyboard, travel case, white "G" keycap as replacement for the esc key, wireless adapter, and USB-A to USB-C cable for data and charging. Setup is straight forward, you will want to get the Logitech G HUB software, as this enables you to customize and set profiles.  Note that the G HUB is an entire Logitech ecosystem for all your gaming peripherals.  I already had the software due to other devices, and I find it easy to use, and make quick changes. G HUB will automatically detect all of your compatible Logitech gear and add to the platform. Specific to this keyboard, you can remap keys, set custom profiles (colors, hotkeys, game presets, etc.), configure key bindings, and adjust lighting. The build is compact, at 60%, without the keypad (TKL), it's just under 11.5" long, by 4" deep, and weighs in at 1.4lbs (618g). I find the weight gives the keyboard a very sturdy feel, I'm not going to break it with high force keystrokes, nor is it going to wear out with repetitive keystrokes or an accidental drop. There is a volume roller on the left side, power, USB-C port, Bluetooth pair button, Lightspeed button across the top, and game mode (disables any key you select in the G HUB) switch on the right side.  Lightspeed refers to the USB wireless dongle connection, which is stored in the bottom of the keyboard.  When in use, you get more options for G HUB customization and responsiveness, I find that for work Bluetooth is great, and works better than most wireless keyboards regarding connectivity and response, however, the Lightspeed connection is what I want if I'm gaming. Another great feature is that the keyboard has a great wireless range, I can use it on the desk or on my lap when paired with a projector (~20' away). If neither of these options work, or you prefer to be wired, you can always use the enclosed cable to connect via the USB-C port on the front of the keyboard.  Performance is fantastic, the compact build still has enough space that I don't feel cramped, or have issues with accidental key strikes.  Battery life is fantastic, currently going on 25 hours, with an estimated 35 remaining. All keys feel smooth, no changes in response or stability for space bar, shift, and other longer keys. The 1ms report rate feels instantaneous and the GX Optical Tactile keys give the right pressure and travel to feel right to someone who grew up with the mechanical keyboards. I am also of the age where I took typing in school, so the low contrast keyboard is not a problem, since I rarely look at the keyboard when typing.  My teens did struggle a bit if there wasn't enough contrast to see the backlighting. Overall the keyboard is obviously built for gaming, but the size easily lends itself to being your on the go, do it all keyboard. 

The Logitech Pro X 60 may be small, but it packs a lot in its 60% layout. Sure, it may be a bit expensive, but I fell in love with it the more I used it, and I think you might as well. Let’s get to the pros and cons and my overall impressions on the keyboard. Pros: Compact and portable design. You’ll even get a nice hard travel case! Excellent build quality Logitech optical switches provide a great and clicky experience RGB backlighting is completely customizable Dedicated gaming mode disables the Windows key Dedicated volume scroll wheel is a welcomed addition Being able to pair my G303 using the same dongle as the Pro X is awesome It’s completely wireless, using either Bluetooth or the LIGHTSPEED dongle, but can be used with a USB cable as well. KEYCONTROL is a game changer for many. Giving you the option to reprogram and reassign every key on the keyboard. Cons: There’s no way around this, the keyboard is pricey No dedicated media keys Keys are not silent, but not as loud as Cherry MX Blues No wrist rest included Overall: The Logitech Pro X 60 is a fantastic keyboard for gamers who want a compact and portable choice with excellent build quality, performance and a beautiful aesthetic. However, it is expensive and may not be great for those that are used to a full-sized keyboard experience. I believe there’s a lot of value in being able to control every key on this keyboard. That feature along with the volume control wheel, the infinitely customizable RGB lighting and build quality makes this an easy recommendation for any serious gamer looking for a stylish keyboard that can put in as much work as you do.

I am glad to see Logitech finally get into the “pro gaming” 60% keyboard race. The keyboard is certainly portable and light, especially with the included quality hard case. It can easily be placed on an angle (if that’s your style) without taking too much space. Although I would’ve preferred having a metal base, it stays in place when typing or gaming furiously. The double-shot PBT keycaps’ texture feel nice and secure. The optical 1.8mm activation and 4mm travel keys are responsive enough for me. Designated as a “pro” keyboard, I would’ve liked to have seen rapid triggers instead, or hot-swappable switches. While it seems well-built, I did notice some wobble and rattling, which makes it noisier. It’s a good thing there is some dampening in there. I appreciate the convenient volume rocker on the side and the gaming switch, which disables keys that are not used when gaming. Also, the RGB is bright and adjustable. The keyboard covers all modes of connectivity -Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, and USB wired, and is easy to switch. I really did not notice any huge lag difference between the modes, although in serious competitive situations I’d prefer wired. Nevertheless, I did not experience any real drawbacks when actually playing, regardless of connection. The battery life is impressive. It’s been a few days, and the battery is a bit over 60% using it for several hours a day, with full-on RGB on. There is a lot of customization available through the G HUB, Logitech’s unifying app. There, you can change RGB colors per key, reassign keys, and build macros. In my opinion, I would not call this keyboard “pro”. To me, this is more of an entry-level minimalistic gamer keyboard, which may make the asking price a bit too steep for some. Having said this, I think there is a lot to like about this keyboard and worth checking out -especially if you’re like me, who is into a Logitech ecosystem.

The Logitech Pro X 60 is a mixed bag when considering what it is. My initial impression with the keyboard was great. I absolutely love typing on it, with its slightly concaved, textured dualshot PBT keycaps, the keycaps invite your fingers to press them, snugging up to your fingertips so they don't slide off the keys and lead to accidental key presses. From a typing standpoint this is probably one of the most satisfying keyboards I have ever typed on. But this is a gamers keyboard, so the satisfaction of typing should come second. I really like like Logitech products. I've been using their mice pretty consistently for the past 5 years or so, I have had the G915 keyboard for 2 years almost, have had their headsets, and of the big name brands I find Logitech to have the least intrusive, easy to use, low overhead software suites. I really like Logitech products. I say this because I'm going to pretty critical about this keyboard because I don't believe it should get a pass simply because its Logitech. So, build and finish. This is a gorgeous 60% keyboard. Its got a nice metallic ring around the base of the keyboard. Its got a volume knob built into the left side of the keyboard, with the Game Mode toggle on the right, Power switch, LightSpeed and Bluetooth on the backside. You can access the knob and game mode toggle without looking pretty easily. You shouldn't need to use the LightSpeed/Bluetooth often, but you can feel them without looking (though you won't know which you're pressing if you don't look). They keys are nice to type on, with what feels like a pretty low actuation distance, and nice audible feedback from the clicks. What I do not like about these keys though is the amount of wobble you will find in the keys themselves. All the primary keys have wobble, the double keys (tab, \| ) are the worst, while the long keys aren't as bad (though space has some bounce). Additionally, the RGBs behind the Caps and Shift keys don't fully illuminate the words. That can be pretty distracting. For a premium build I expect the fitment to be better on these. The wireless functionality on this is great. I noticed no latency from it operating on the 2.4GHz dongle or using it Bluetooth. A gripe I have with it though is its responsiveness when waking up. This keyboard at its default settings, puts itself to sleep pretty fast, and lights off even faster. Of course these are user changeable, but the issue I ran into was when waking it up by starting to type, it lost some keystrokes. This happened to me a few times and always caught me by surprise because it isn't an issue I have with my G915. Of course you can entirely mitigate this by keeping it plugged in or just staying awake, but battery life will suffer with the later. Battery life on this is very good for a wireless keyboard. I have yet to drain it down from a 100% charge, resting at 70% now after a few days of use (which includes hours of typing and a good bit of gaming). So no complaints there. As for the features. A couple of really cool things I liked about this keyboard was the ability to use the same wireless dongle with this and my mouse. That is a nice feature, especially for those that are using it with a laptop. One less thing to plug in is always a plus. You could use Bluetooth but I prefer using the faster 2.4GHz frequency. The keyboard supports Layers. This is a must have on a 60% keyboard in my opinion. You sacrafice so many keys to shrink these things down that you have to be able to make up for it. With this keyboard you have two layers you can leverage, the Fn layer, and the Game Mode. The default Fn layer I can't get along with because the Fn key is positioned in such a way that you need to use your pinky finger to press it, while a lot of my needed keys are on the right pinky side, so it turns into a very awkward push of that button. Luckiy you can remap both the Game Mode and Fn mode layers. The only real downsides to that is the time required to do so, and the fact that the front of the keys are labeled with the default Fn mapping. If the Fn key was on the left side of the keyboard this would be less of an issue. Game mode pretty similar to Fn, but with the exception its toggle based instead of holding down a key. So you can flip the switch when you enter a game, and you have all your mapped (and unassigned) keys ready to go. It has two neat features with it that allow you to outright disable keys and you can map other events to keys as well. So say you want to map your right mouse button to a key for whatever reason, you can. The Logitech G Hub software is very intuitive, finding and setting up these features was fairly simple and straight forward with a fair amount of modifiers you can use (so say you want to map a key to be Ctrl+T you can). While I have talked about the keys once before I need to double back to emphasize a bit on another key (pun intended) part. Logitech has opted to use GX Optical Switches on this keyboard. These switches are not hotswappable, they don't have Rapid Trigger sensors, and because of that they don't support hall effect. For a new, premium gamer centric keyboard in 2024 to not have these options is a real concern of mine. I personally don't swap switches out of my keyboard, nor do I find rapid trigger to be a game changer (or even noticeable to me), these are technologies that are well known and highly praised by keyboard enthusiasts. Not including them seems like a big miss to me. While I personally really enjoy using this keyboard, I do wish that I didn't have a keyboard that was years behind in keyboard tech. To wrap this all up, this is a good keyboard that I absolutely love typing on, gaming on it feels just fine, but its not game changing nor up to date on keyboard technology.

I'm writing this review as a relative newcomer to the gaming space and a big fan of Logitech. My grandchildren will attest that I am a gaming 'novice' and for reference, I have used this keyboard with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 version, and in my general everyday computer use. So, if you are an experienced game player you'll realize that my experience is quite limited, however, I think you'll be quite happy with this choice. On the other hand, if you are a non-gamer or someone just taking up this eSport, I feel my review might be more useful to you. My summary is this: It takes a lot of time and effort to get used to the key placement if you are not accustomed to this size/type of keyboard. That said, the Logitech Lightspeed Pro 60 X is an amazing high-quality keyboard given its small size (60% of a full size keyboard). It comes in a very nice package wrapped in a protective and instructional cover, inside a well constructed and fitted travel case that appears to be quite durable. Also included are a USB A to USB C cable, wireless dongle plus it's Bluetooth compatible. I am impressed by the feel of the keyboard and particularly the length, responsiveness, firmness and sound of the keystrokes. For reference, I learned to type on an prominent ball type electric Office typewriter back in the 70s and miss the firmness of the keystrokes. More recently, I've become accustomed to a laptop keyboard that has all the limitations of a modern day gaming laptop. The Pro 60X keyboard uses optical technology which is pretty advanced for someone at my level of 'play'. I rely on the Logitech brand when it comes to high quality moderately priced laptop and other tech accessories such as mice and cams. Other than this keyboard and other electronic products, I have no commercial relationship with Logitech. After I downloaded the GHUB software and configuration application, I realized there's more to this keyboard than meets the eye, for a competitive gamer, the ability to map any of the keys to maximize efficiency and competitiveness depending upon the game of choice. The keys can be programmed in a wide array of colors and light intensity. I found the LED lit keys to be a very welcome improvement over my backlit laptop keys. Additionally, I have larger hands and was worried about the smaller size of the keyboard, but I found the keys are flexible and spaced well to easily match-up with my fingertips. The volume roller on the side of the keyboard is well placed and easy to access. I charged the keyboard once so far and the battery is strong. I imagine that it charges the battery if it is connected by wire to my gaming platform. Two things that concerned me were that I found the secondary keys (activated by the Fn key) to be pretty difficult to use: 1) The Fn key is located on the bottom right side of the keyboard which is awkward for me because the default Fn keys I use the most like Left, Right, Up and Down are very close by and difficult to properly strike at the same time as the Fn key itself. 2) The graphics for the default Fn keys are imprinted on the front faces of the keys and quite difficult for to see. That said, I suspect a competitive game player is going to memorize the keys and the finger placement to maximize speed. Based upon the quality, functionality, size and portability of this device together with the backing of Logitech, I feel this is a top rated-5 star keyboard for a knowledgeable game player. However, due to the level of effort required to set up and use the device for the average or moderate user, I will down rate it one star.

The Logitech G PRO X 60 is a premium gaming keyboard for the competitive gamer on the move. The keyboard is well packaged. Upon opening the box, I was greeted with simple instructions on the lid of the box on how to connect the keyboard via both Bluetooth and the Lightspeed dongle. The keyboard also comes wrapped in paper which, along with the instructions, prompted me to Logitech’s website to install the G Hub application. Beneath the paper wrap was a high-quality hard travel case. The case holds the 6’ charging cable, the Lightspeed wireless dongle, and USB-C adapter along with the keyboard itself. Using the keyboard with the Lightspeed dongle unlocks the blazing fast 1ms response rate. Keyboard arrived charged to 60%. The G Hub program reported that the keyboard had 42 hours of battery life remaining. On a full charge, it is marketed to have 65 hours of battery life. If the battery dies, the keyboard can be wired with the included USB-A to Type-C cable. There is a small green light on the front of the board which pulses green to indicate charging. The build quality of the keyboard is spectacular. Keycaps are Dual-shop PBT with a nice textured feel. There was even an extra color matched Escape key which can be swapped with the contrasting color Escape key. This keyboard is built to last. The rear of the keyboard has the USB-C charging port, power switch, and buttons to switch between Bluetooth and Lightspeed mode. The left side has a minimalistic volume wheel and caps lock light. Bottom has rubber feet and 2 flip-up stands. Game mode switch is located on the right side which disables certain keys such as the Windows key when activated to eliminate inadvertent key pressed when gaming. There are three color options to choose from: black, white, and magenta. All options include a tasteful chrome accent and per-key RGB lighting. By default, the RGB lighting is managed by Windows 11. This is easily disabled to allow for customization withing the G Hub program. There are a variety of lighting effects and animations to choose from, including the option to create custom animations and per-key “freestyle” effects. The keyboard is a joy to type and game on. The Logitech GX Optical Switches come in both tactile and lineal flavors. I personally have the tactile version. The keys are quiet with a tactile bump with a 60 G actuation force. They are akin to their leading Brown key counterparts in both feel and force. Spacebar, shift, backspace, and enter keys are all buttery smooth and very well stabilized. There are no compromises with the GX Optical switches. The optical switches feel just like their mechanical counterparts, with the added bonuses of faster response time and longer life that optical switches offer. G Hub software also allows for in-depth per key customization in base, function, and g-shift modes. Using the software, specific keys can be disabled for game mode as well. Easy to read legend on keys allows for media control, arrow key, and other functions easily while maintaining a portable, tenkeyless 60% footprint. Overall, for those looking for a no-compromise keyboard capable of gaming on the go, look no further than the Logitech G PRO X 60.

The new Logitech Pro X60 Keyboard is a very well-designed and built keyboard that is only sixty percent the size of a standard keyboard and does not include a number pad. It also pairs up with the Logitech G-Hub software for a wide array of customization options from lighting to key assignments. You can really dive deep with this software and assign different keys that are assigned to operate during specific activities such as gaming, video editing, coding, everyday use, business use and more. You can set it up to suit your needs for whatever activity you desire really and switch between them at will. Logitech has taken customization to a whole new level with this keyboard. Not only that the keys responsiveness and feel are just stellar. Probably the best I have ever felt or at least right at the top somewhere. They are really good and I like the compactness of this keyboard for easy portability. Did I mention it looks awesome with different premade light shows to choose from with the option to create your own custom light shows as well. Every time I look at it I think man this thing is small. Then I realize it does what it needs to do and I have not found anything to complain about with this thing. It is a joy to use this keyboard. The responsiveness and game mode switch make it awesome for gaming because once you set it up for each one of your games once you flip the gaming switch it turns off all of the other keys so you can not make a mistake by hitting the wrong key on accident. Besides some Mobile keyboards I have had for tablets this is the smallest keyboard I have used and it has it’s own dedicated wireless dongle that connects to the keyboard or you can use Bluetooth. I am using the dongle with the lightspeed connection and there has never been any lag as a matter of fact I can not even tell that it is wireless it is that good. Not sure what they have done exactly but it definitely works. I also have the TKL version which is also great but the keys are a little different and in my opinion probably not quite as good for gaming as this new Pro X60 keyboard. The bottom line is that if you want a gaming keyboard that you can set up for games individually as well as other task and you are looking for a compact keyboard with all the customization functions you can pull out of a keyboard and it’s software. You would be hard pressed to find a better option than the Logitech Pro X 60 Lightspeed. This keyboard is impressive!

I got my hands on the new Logitech G Pro X 60 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Keyboard and it was a serious pleasure to game on. It’s compact, responsive, high quality, and feature-rich. The 60% keyboard designs may not be for everyone, but for me, they’re ideal for my gaming needs. I love the compact form factor and it has everything I need to game. The package also includes both a white and black escape keycap, USB cable, Lightspeed wireless adapter, and a well-made carrying case. I have the tactile switch version and am surprised by the typing experience. The tactile feel is solid, and each press is delightfully satisfying. The key presses are quick without being overly sensitive. The sound is nice and delivers a solid click. The build is mostly plastic but the top plate is metal alloy. I know that RGB isn’t the most important thing, but wow. They shine though key caps look great with a literal rainbow of possible colors and lighting effects. The per-key RGB here is some of the best around. Configuration using the Logitech G Hub is great too. There are plenty of options and configurations. I generally plug my keyboards in but having the option of a low latency LIGHTSPEED wireless connection is cool too. Logitech says you can expect up to 65 hours of life. The unit also boasts Bluetooth connectivity if that’s your thing! I’m very pleased with the unit and 60% keyboards are perfect for my gaming needs. I can’t wait to check out the linear GX optical switches next!

Design and Features 7/10 Included in the box with the keyboard is a carrying case, USB-A to USB-C extension/hardwire cable, USB-A to USB-C adapter, and lightspeed dongle. The outer shell is made of plastic, but the upper deck is made of metal. It has some heft to it and feels well-made, but the blend of plastic means it does have the slightest amount of flex compared to an all metal chassis. It has a 1ms polling rate which isn’t class leading but good for all but the most demanding gamers. The keycaps are double shot PBT which should mean text never fades and sharp backlighting. The transition between materials is smooth with the keys having a slight texture and dished shape to them. The backlight on larger keys, such as the Shift key, exhibit some uniformity issues. Half the T in Shift is dim in certain colors. The effect is minor, but it is odd to see in a high-end keyboard. The space bar has foam inside the keycap and there are two rubber bumpers on the deck below. The key switches have been upgraded to optical but the standard for the class is hall effect switches with customizable activation points. There are two levels of key mapping available. One via the FN key and the other via a customizable G-Shift key. The premapped ones for shift have their function printed on the side of the key to see their function, however the text is small and not backlit. On the left edge of the keyboard is a volume wheel which is accessible via your left pinky. On the right edge is a game mode switch. It is recessed, most likely to prevent accidental activation or deactivation. When activated it will disable certain keys of your choice, like the windows key. Setup 7/10 The basic setup is simple. You can connect via hardwired using the USB-A to USB-C extension cable, with the pre-paired lightspeed dongle, or via Bluetooth. Customization is where things get more complicated. Installing G-Hub gives you a few quick screens about the basic features. After that there isn’t a whole lot of assistance in the app of how to do the advance configuration. The difference between the FN and G-Switch operation isn’t explained and Logitech’s videos only scratch the surface. Thankfully, if you are new to G-Hub there are a good number of videos made by enthusiasts explaining things to anyone new to the software. G-Hub automatically detects your games and if you have other Logi peripherals you can create custom game profiles for the whole set. After you set your G-Shift key you can create a map for your entire keyboard. The G-Shift key doesn’t have to be a key on your keyboard. It can also be on another Logi device, such as your mouse. How this works is you set your keymap for a particular game. When you press your configured G-Shift key then the keyboard map changes to the remap set for the game and reverts when released. For example, if you want to map all your weapons or specific inventory items you just need to press the G-Shift key and the mapped key for quick access. With modifiers you can also have a single key have up to 5 different functions. This could be great for those wanting to customize everything, but it does require a lot of practice to memorize the layout. Memorizing the layout isn’t the only challenge. Mapping keys takes several clicks just to map a single key. Let’s say you want to remap an FN key. In G-Hub you need to open the keyboard profile, click Assignments, click FN, click the desired key, click remap, click your modifier, click your event type, click your assignment, click any submenus under assignment, and then finally click confirm to save your choice. All the steps after clicking Assignments would need to be repeated for each key you want remapped. This can get to be tedious if you want to have many key mappings and even more so if you want them for each game. Like other Logi products there are community presets for games shared by the community but at the time of writing none have been shared yet. It’s nice that Logitech wants to allow so much flexibility, but the process needs refinement. Unfortunately, G-Hub has been this way for some time and really needs an overhaul. It has a lot of features, but the layout is not intuitive. Typing and General Usage 8/10 The keys feel smooth with quick activation and a satisfying sound. The keys respond with a light touch and feel sturdy without feeling weighty. It doesn’t have the “thock” that more people are looking for now. The keys sound like they have the slightest rattle on activation, likely from stem wobble. It seems Logitech was trying to prevent this with foam on the underside of the spacebar and rubber pads, but it is only the spacebar. It’s no surprise that the spacebar has a different and deeper sound than the others. There is a rubberized sheet on the bottom of the deck but no other foam or dampening. The size and location of each key changes the sound it makes. The keys have some stem wobble, but activation is consistent across the key even on the spacebar. Typing on a 60-percent keyboard for the first time takes some adjustment. The keys still have a decent amount of separation, but they are just close enough to where it takes some retraining if you mainly use full sized keyboards. For those with larger hands the learning curve is steeper. The volume wheel has been more natural than expected and easy to adapt. The more challenging part is adapting to not having dedicated arrow keys. Years of muscle memory is hard to retrain. Gaming Usage 8/10 While you could say that G-Hub needs refinement and it is behind the pack on certain hardware features the Pro X 60 is still a good gaming keyboard. It’s hard to say much about gaming profiles as most of the time has been spent adapting to the smaller size keyboard and gaming, but it has been enjoyable to use. While personally the 1ms polling rate is not noticeable to anyone in our family, it is behind the times. Activation has been reliable and fast for gameplay and hasn’t given the impression that something was missing. This might be different for more capable gamers but for our family it has been enjoyable and improved our gameplay. From a hardware perspective the Pro X 60 is solid. Final Thoughts The Logitech Pro X 60 is a nice gaming keyboard for most people. If you are looking for a 60-percent gaming keyboard that has wireless capabilities and plenty of customizability, then the Logitech Pro X 60 could be a good fit for you.

I've been rocking the same full sized keyboard for a bit but have has some interest in the 60% and TKL keyboards flocking to the market. Logitech has always been the bet for my keyboard suggestions at work, but never much looked in to their gaming keyboards. The keyboard is well packaged within the box your greeted with some instructions to connect your Keyboard and a carrying case housing the keyboard itself. Inside the case you have the Pro X 60 itself, a 'esc' key to swap out the white Logitech key, USB A to USB C cable, USB A Dongle and a USB A-C dongle along with some manuals and informational papers. I opted to connect to the USB dongle and use wireless, I had been using a wireless mouse for sometime so I wasn't opposed to giving it a go. There is a little power switch up top along with a selector to put the keyboard in either Bluetooth or USB receiver mode. Got the Logitech G hub installed and made sure everything was up to date. The keyboard itself is solid, with a little force there isn't much flex at all, the switches are tactile which have a nice glide to them and not overall clicky sounding but give you enough feedback to know you pressed your key. There is a switch on the right hand side, that you can program in G hub to disable keys to allow you no accidental presses which could take you out of the game. Not too much of a feature for myself as I will typically jump between a couple screens and play with friends casually. The left hand side of the keyboard does have a scroll wheel which I use to control volume, didn't pay attention if this can be changed as it was useful to me. For my first 60% TKL this is really solid, it does through me off a little bit not having the ten key, but I think the arrow keys not having their own keys was the thing that throws me off the most as I will use that a bit to snap different windows from time to time. It just came to getting used to using the function key to use these keys but that's more down to a muscle memory change. Overall this is an amazing Keyboard, looking forward to getting more use out of it. I topped it off once since I got it but with the battery life of this keyboard, I shouldn't have to worry about that very often.

I’m going to start with the simple item for this keyboard, if you’re not use to using a compact keyboard where a good number of keys are only available on a second layer with a function key or some other trigger method, you will probably need a little bit of time to adjust to this keyboard. With that said I’ve been using a small layout keyboard for a long time and using this one has been nice. The packaging is super nice since the keyboard ships in a very nice box and it’s simple to unpack because the keyboard is in the carry case that comes with it in the box. No extra unwrapping or digging through packaging, just open the box and the carry case is there with the keyboard and everything you need inside. (There is minimal wrapping around the keyboard in the carry case just to keep it clean). When I got the keyboard out the first thing I noticed was that it was very sturdy for a small form factor keyboard. It is weighty which is a nice touch with a small keyboard. I don’t feel like it’s going to slide around or move while I’m using it to play games or type in long sessions. The keys on the one I got are tactile optical and honestly, they are super nice not super loud but with a nice feel. I don’t feel like I’m going to mistype keys with a nice small bump for when the key is pressed. Also, with such a small keyboard it’s super nice that there is still a volume roller tucked in out of the way but still easy to access. It’s a super nice touch I’ve not seen on other boards. On the software front, it’s nice that Logitech has made sure that it’s super easy to remap keys and do really whatever you want with the key placement (in software) and LED setup and stuff like that. The ability to quickly and easily re-map keys is very nice on a small form factor board like this because it allows you to change up the other layers to make the layout what works best for you. Ultimately, I was expecting a very good keyboard at this price and from someone like Logitech. And I’m going to say they have fully met my expectations and I’m happy to have this keyboard available for when I travel and when I want to save space on my desk.

If you are looking for a compact, portable, and durable keyboard, then this is it. I was pretty surprised to see that it came with its own hardshell case! In addition to having storage for the USB dongle (it also can connect via wired USB-C or through Bluetooth, though I have not tested either of those methods), there are two height adjustable feet also for tilt. There are also buttons along the edges for power on/off, selecting Bluetooth or Lightspeed (USB wireless), and a volume wheel on the left side. Finally there is a small LED on the left side to indicate caps lock as well as a green LED on the front right to indicate power/charging status. As someone who has never owned a 60%, it was a surprise to see just how small and compact the keyboard is! The keyboard has ample weight on it - not too heavy, but also not too light. The keys themselves are great and have a slight texture to them - being PBT I don't see them wearing out or getting shiny over time like other cheaper models or brands. The tactile switches through the optical technology worked well for my taste - not extremely clacky, but does have a satisfying 'bump' when typing. As with a 60% layout, there definitely are some adjustments to get used to as a result of not having the same keys as a full standard layout, such as using the ALT+F4 keys, which the F keys are the same as the number keys. Secondly there are no arrow keys either. Again, though, that is more an issue with the layout and not the product - if you game a lot and don't have a need for those keys, then that isn't a problem. As always, Logitech's G HUB software works well, with a variety of different RGB effects, monitoring battery life/usage, as well as adjusting for game specific settings. Overall, a great product that is flexible for any kind of gamer that is also great for on the go!

This is my first time trying out a TKL gaming keyboard, and at first glance, it took me a day or two to get used to the new look with my gaming set up. My desk is big enough for a full size keyboard, but I wanted something smaller for a cleaner look. Happy to share that I like this clean look indeed. As for its performance. I am coming from an optical linear keyboard, and so it took me a couple of gaming sessions to feel comfortable with the mechanical tactile. Once I got comfortable, I can say that the mechanical just feels a little more comfortable and responsive in competitive shooter games. Although the travel is a little more, the fact that the keyboard switches are bigger and punchier, it helps with immediate crouching and sliding when needed. Connectivity was easy. Plug and play with the USB connection. I didn’t bother to set it up via Bluetooth. Personally, I detest having to download all these software for keyboard and mouses, and I am happy to share that you don’t have to install the Logitech software to change the RGB and some of the other set ups. You can figure out these steps in the manual. All in all, I am very happy with this X 60 pro, and I as someone new to a TKL set up, it took me a bit to get used to using the FN key to access missing keys, but once you learn how to navigate this, you appreciate this smaller form factor. I am using this for my gaming sessions and my remote work sessions, so it can do both no problem!
