I bought this on a whim to use with my MacBook Pro with Touchbar (late 2016 version). Given the MacBook only has USB-C connections, the Apple dongle from USB-C to standard USB & HDMI allows me to plug in the narrow-sized USB connector that comes with the R800. I had problems plugging in HDMI and my old USB adapter for an older pointer because the adapter was too wide (see pictures). The R800 packaging also notes it is Windows compatible with no mention of Mac support but it did work for me using PowerPoint 2016. The R800 range is 100 feet vs. standard 50 on most other options. The green laser is bright and strong.

The Logitech R800 is easy to use and works flawlessly. It has excellent range, allowing you to present from a distance without any issues. A reliable, straightforward remote that gets the job done.

This slide advancer is a great tool that is easy to use and almost error-proof. I was able to share it with my colleagues and they just plugged the USB in their laptop and it worked. The timer is also a great feature, but I did not use that yet. It's not intuitive, at least to me, so I have to get some documentation to see how to make it work. That is why I did not give "ease of use" a five star rating. The laser pointer is also good.

I have a job that requires me to give a lot of presentations, so I use a clicker often. I've tried various products, but none are as good as this one. It's comfortable to use, and the range is long. I've been using this product for years, but I lost it, so I had to buy a new one. It's been a while since I purchased it again, and it's still just as great.

I liked the Logitech presenter because of it's small size and easy to use design.

The ergonomic design makes it comfortable in the hand. The intuitive layout of the buttons is awesome. The vibrating countdown timer is a great method of keeping presentations on track without a clock which can distract your audience. A great remote for anyone working towards their CTT+ certification.

Iove this product, works as described, infact i used this with my macbookpro and it worked without any issues. I recommend thisnproduct.

Nice upgrade from the original. Range seems to be improved on this model.

This simple device essentially does one thing: it switches slides during a presentation. There are some little things, like textured slideshow buttons and a green laser pointer that has an extreme level of contrast that works even on TVs. All in all, a pretty nice tool for professionals who want to make a good impression with a smooth presentation.

I recently did a joint presentation with 3 other presenters. My session was first and an hour long. First, this is the simplest presenter I ever used. I literally picked it up on the way from the airport, opened it when I got to the hotel and 10 minutes later I had begun my session. I ha no time to read the instructions but luckily there was no need to. It was so simple to use, had a really great distance and all three other presenters used it after me and loved it to. I was afraid I was not going to get it back!! It has a built in timer so you can set a countdown and keep track of your time very efficiently. I also like the built in laser pointer, onboard storage for the USB receiver and the protective case.

I’ve been using the Logitech R800 Presenter for presentations, and it’s been extremely reliable. The buttons are intuitive and easy to use without looking down, which makes a big difference when presenting. The laser pointer is bright and clearly visible, even in larger rooms, and the range is excellent—I can move freely without losing connection. The built-in timer and vibration alerts are a great feature to help stay on track without constantly checking the time. It feels solid in hand and the battery life has been very good so far. Overall, it’s a professional and dependable tool that makes presentations smoother and more confident. Highly recommend for anyone who presents regularly.

My mind wanders and when the teacher is trying to give the lesson, I have been known to drift onto a rabbit trail in my head only to be awakened to my name being called because the projection is not keeping up with the speaker. Now that I have this little gadget, the teacher can easily go from slide to slide and back without worrying about the sound man getting lost in some side issue or other and forgetting to advance the screen. Where he teaches is about fifty feet away from the computer in the sound booth and it hasn't missed a beat turning to the next slide. The Shabbat School teacher really likes the laser pointer! It helps him to draw our attention to exactly what is being covered on the projector quickly, easily and without interrupting the teaching flow. Installation was hassle free. I just plugged in the receiver and brought up my program of choice. I did add a six foot USB extender just to get the receiver higher in the air for a better reception as opposed to on the floor plugged into the back of the computer. I don't think it was really necessary, but I just wanted to be sure the signal would reach. I don't know why I didn't get one sooner! I use it with PowerPoint and ZionWorx, (a song presenter). I am very pleased with its performance. It does what is advertised with no surprises. My kind of product!

I speak publicly on a regular basis and use PowerPoint as a teaching tool often. It was important to me to find a presenter that would operate easily and reliably. This unit is larger than some but it still fits comfortably in my hand. I like the green color laser as it is visible in all lighting situations. The counter also helps me keep my programs and speaking engagements in the proper allowed time frame. Another nice feature found on this presenter, especially for those on the go, is that there is a slot for USB receiver to be stored when not plugged into a computer. It has multiple function control buttons that are intuitive and easy to use. I have had no problem using it while walking around a large conference room and even auditoriums.

I really love this presenter. It is very easy to use, and I really like the green laser vs the red. I love the timing feature, I usually set it up to remind me when I have about 5 minutes left so I can wrap it up. It has a very quick response, you press the forward button and your slide immediately responds, there is no delay at all. The range is amazing as well. It is very comfortable to hold in your hand, and it comes with a very nice carrying case. I highly recommend this presenter.

This accessory is perfect for presentations and creates a user-friendly, professional way to sort through a Power Point. I have used it to conduct training courses, etc., and it is simple, yet efficient. Recommend to anyone looking for a similar product, and the laser pointer inclusion is a cool feature too.

Got this to replace a much older presentation remote at church. Wanted something with greater range for more consistent performance. This one has been working great. It is learn and easy to use. Connects to computer quickly with no need to do anything but sticking the dongle into a USB port. Some find the timer feature useful.

Works flawlessly to remotely navigate through a power point presentation. Added bonus over previous model is this has a built in timer with a vibrate alert and the green laser is more easily seen in slightly brighter rooms. Batteries included and last for several months for me.
