Los Pamperos were a small combo of Cuban musicians who emigrated to Miami following the 1959 Cuban embargo which saw a huge influx of Cuban musicians migrating to Miami. Rather than play Cuban music, Los Pamperos were fascinated by the music coming out of Argentina and they began playing Tangos almost exclusively.
