MODEL 30 is built on its own discrete circuit board, the Hyper-Dynamic Amplifier Module, or HDAM. By custom-curating hundreds of individual parts, HDAM significantly outperforms standard integrated circuits to create the unique musicality you always expect from Marantz.
Envisioned to deliver optimal sound quality by simplifying the signal path, the Phono EQ stage in the MODEL 30 amplifier can be used with both moving magnet and low-output moving coil cartridges, thanks to a built-in MC head amplifier.
Optimize sound performance with moving coil (MC) or magnetic moving (MM) cartridges. MODEL 30 is equipped with an input impedance selector that can be adjusted to three different settings: MC LOW (33 ohm), MC MID (100 ohm) and MC HIGH (390 ohm).

MODEL 30 maintains the purest possible sound and supports the power needed to drive the most demanding speakers, delivering 2x100W into an 8ohms load, and easily copes with low impedance speakers thanks to a 2x200W output into 4ohms.
A clean power supply is dedicated exclusively to preamp to ensure high purity. The amplification power supply delivers high current instantaneously. The MODEL 30 will follow even the hardest bass attacks and provides clean power for the reproduction of the finest details.
In addition to phono and CD analog inputs, MODEL 30 features two line-level inputs and one pair of recorder input/output jacks that enable the connection of multiple sources and recorders.
Use MODEL 30 as a standalone stereo power amplifier for additional system configuration versatility with the included power amp direct input. For example, use the front pre-outs of your AV setup and run them through MODEL 30 power amps.
