An amazing insight into the workings of Marc Bolan, here we have over 100 tracks of his own personal home recordings. Marc purchased the best tape recorders of the day as early as 1970 to record his ideas on. Included are work in progress versions of many tracks that went onto become global hits such as Get It On, Jeepster, Metal Guru, Telegram Sam, The Groover, Truck On (Tyke), Thunderwing, Sunken Rags and many more. Nearly all of the other tracks were never issued during Marc's lifetime. Presented in a clam shell box with a booklet featuring full liner notes by Andrew Gardner of the Bolan Society and designed by Bolan fan and top designer Les Clark. Most of these recordings were stolen from Marc & Gloria's home literally the day after Marc died. Audio restored and mastered by Anders Peterson at Ghost Sound in Sweden, royalties from sales of this set will help fund the Marc Bolan School of Music through Gloria's charity The Light of Love Foundation. 4 of the discs have been issued on limited edition vinyl pressings but disc 5 remains exclusive to this box setDisc 1 1.
