The speaker i got was not in Open-Box Excellent conditions as described, as there were cosmetic signs of use that doesn't impact the performance, but doesn't worth the money spent.

I hate giving it a bad review, because when working it sounds AMAZING. After having it for 27 days and using it nearly everyday, it has stopped working. :( It will not charge at all. I've tried multiple outlets and a replacement charger and it just will no longer charge. Sounded great though.

Hi Kimberly, we are sorry to hear that, it would be very disappointing. Can you try a Hard Reset? This is often a fix for this scenario:
1. Make sure that the Speaker has been charged or connect it to a power source.
2. Turn the speaker volume knob to ON mode.
3. Press and hold the bluetooth pairing button for a count of 10-12 (11 seconds), and then release the button: the speaker will restart.
4. Remove Kilburn II from the Bluetooth list in the device you like to pair it with, and then complete a new pairing and connect the device to the Kilburn II again.
We hope this helps. If not, please reach out to the Marshall Support Team through the official online store.

Great sound, lovely that it turns off when not in use. But the bluetooth setting keeps kicking me out. Doesnt auto connect. Frustrating when trying to connect most of the time i have to forget the device and restart. I had to return because theres nothing on the jbl efficient system. I cant have two bluetooth connected at the same time.

Hey MacJody, thank you for your review and feedback. The Kilburn II is a stand-alone Bluetooth speaker that can't be used in pairs, it likes to be the star of the show. Odd that the speaker won't auto-connect or needs to be forgotten to connect to it, that isn't the designed behaviour. We hope you will consider Marshall speakers again in the future.

Although the sound was good for its size, unfortunately my speaker was not turning on. I had to return it, and I owned the previous version of it the bigger one. I’m not sure what happened usually never let me down.

Missing a lot of mid notes. Nice bass notes however.

Thank you for your review. The speaker will play a flat signal when the knobs are turned to 5. The speaker plays pretty steadily through all of the frequencies for the best possible outdoor listening experience. The Kilburn II does not have dedicated mid-range drivers, the mids will be split between the Woofer and Tweeters. It has a very even dynamic range making it a great speaker for gatherings and parties without having unsettling dynamics while offering great stereo clarity. This makes it a great speaker for ambient listening. If you are looking for a good home speaker that will be more dynamic and full, I would recommend the Marshall Stanmore III as it uses a more traditional stereo/bass reflex design, although it would only be for home use as it is not portable.

Sound is ok, bass gets overwhelmed when the voices kick in, bluetooth connection is poor and sound mutes it self every other song, bass frequency is not as deep as advertised.

Hello Jose, thanks for your review. This doesn't sound right, it sounds like the speaker is experiencing a defect. Have you been in touch with the Best Buy agents or the Marshall Support Team for assistance? If not, please do as we would be happy to sort this out for you.

I just can’t understand why such a huge size speaker can only play music for just 4 hours?? And in a low voice??

The Kilburn II offers 20+ hours of portable playtime on a single charge. If you are only able to get 4 hours out of a fully charged battery, then it sounds like there is an issue somewhere. Please reach out to [email protected] for assistance.
